and also, Happy 30th Birthday to Cartoon Network launching in most of Europe!!!!!!

CN UK is remembering its own birthday, after all!

And yeah, obviously I don't see a rebrand happening, at least this year
This was a surprise and shock that they even aknowledged series like Squirrel Boy, Generator Rex and Sym-Bionic Titan, that are forgotten nowadays. Yeah, this proves how some of the feeds, despite being under the same management, still can pull off own freelance decisions. And of course, they aren't like the general EMEA markets, which proves here, since the EMEA teams generally forgot about any classic.

Of course, the video is missing some intros and it's obvious that is because of Discovery... Like, Fungies, Mao Mao, Elliott from Earth...

So people suddenly think CN won't rebrand this year? Wait until Half-Term. I'm betting that. Rebranding in the Summer doesn't always need to happen. Break a tradition for once, not a big deal.

I'd be happy happy to be wrong, but I don't see it.

No imminent signs and the fact that rather than rebranding in mid-October or something, with exceptions, operations tend to do it in the New Year, especially as they would have to switch in December to the Christmas presentation already.

It happened in 2010, somehow doubt it's happening this year.

But I'm not saying we have to wait til Summer 2024 though

There isn't always a sign anyway. They just surprisingly rebrand. They don't even have to mention it in the monthly highlights. Also they don't really do much Halloween stuff these days, so rebranding should be perfect for October. After all there's still over a month left before Christmas presentation.

I don't know what they're waiting for honestly. Unless US rebrands again in November and this time it really will be a global rebrand for next year. Then yes, I otherwise agree. If US sticks with Pastel, we will get it as well but hopefully this year rather than next year.

So.... about the CN UK 30th intros compilation video, I like how they used the SD masters for shows like Chowder and My Gym Partner despite them having the widescreen 1080p masters, at least for some of them (as the Chowder clips from the UK-operated YT channel are in 16:9). Maybe they wanted to give that 2000s vibe a stronger feel and I kinda understand, but on the other hand...

While they were very careful to choose exactly all the intros of the originals made by Cartoon Network in-house and their third-party partners (minus the written-off series), somehow I find it strange how they didn't have all the Warner Bros Animation shows that were mainly aired on CN. Like, they had the intro of Duck Dodgers, plus the newer series like Unikitty and Jellystone, yet there are others that are missing and have an important part of the channel's history, even in Europe, like Batman: The Brave and The Bolt, Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated and Justice League Action. Plus, they had the intro of Teen Titans Go and ommited the one of the 2003 series. I mean, I know Teen Titans Go is treated like a CN in-house production everywhere, but at the same time it's a bit ridiculous.

Hm, nice new "new" bug in the bottom left corner. Possible first sign of a rebrand? I doubt this bug is only a one time thing. It will pop up more often.
This seems to be one-time-only as the colours match with the Ivandoe logo.
weirdly enough, German feeds used the "normal" new bug.

Oh right, I didn't notice that.
Not everything new has to be about a rebrand..it will happen whenever they decide it's the right time.
Until then...CN EMEA need to come with some new ideas of marathons, schedule and something to need a rebrand..like the same things but with a new cover?

Marathons.... yeah, at least that!

Those shows were part of the WB-Discovery tax purges.

Today I enjoyed trying some nostalgic online CN games through the Wayback Machine. Some games didn't work, such as select KND games (DCR files instead of SWF ones) or the Puffy Ami-Yumi games (Dish It Out had Flash Player compatibility issue while World Tour just couldn't start after the controls tutorial).
Happy 60th birthday to Greg Weisman. Gargoyles, The Spectacular Spider-Man and Young Justice are all shows that I have enjoyed watching, overall.
so...remember when toonami got controversies for showing something on the fanart segment
I just saw a Frozen 10-Year Anniversary ad on YouTube.

I am officially ancient.
I can't help but find it surreal knowing that this year is Google's 25th Year Anniversary.
