I think this might be the first non-Canadian Care Bears cartoon to get a TV run here in decades. I don't even remember the 2000s DiC one airing on TV (though most people get CBS, so that wasn't a big issue).
The means the show is airing across five separate channels in Canada: TVO, Knowledge, City Saskatchewan, Tele-Quebec and ToonAVision. All of these services are regional (ToonAVision is supposed to be national but only has distribution in the Maritimes), so there isn't a crazy amount of redundancy.
If only it was possible for companies to rethink their decision to make movies exclusive to streaming back to their initial supposed theatrican run - they'll have to look at how the situation is faring in countries and regions.
Wonder why it's impossible to screen "outdated" or "delayed" movies when the situation eases.
