Previously on The Promised Neverland: Norman tells the conspirators the entire farm is encircled by a channel and the only way to leave is through the gate, which leads to the demon's headquarters. Norman returns the device to break the trackers and that night, Norman says goodbye to everyone in the House. Emma hugs Norman in a last effort get him to use the device to break the trackers and escape. He refuses, knowing it's too reckless and it would jeopardize the group's attempt to escape. At the gate, Isabella ushers Norman into a side-room to wait for the demons. Later, Don and Gilda ask Ray what the plan is now, but he has given up, apologizing. In the infirmary, Isabella offers to sponsor a crying Emma as a Mom candidate, saying if she completes her training she could return to the house as a Mother or Sister, but Emma refuses. Two months pass and Ray and Emma withdraw into themselves. The night before Ray is to be shipped out, he sits alone in the dining hall, saying goodbye to the house. When Ray asks Emma if she has really given up, she smiles.

Tonight: Ray and Emma haven't spoken to each other for nearly two months. With Ray's shipment approaching, have they really given up? In the midst of despair, Emma finds Ray in the library.

Previously on Promised Neverland: The trio becomes a duo (or the quintet becomes a quartet if you count Don and Gilda).

Last time: The only way out is to get pregnant. Good message for a child her age.

How are you getting over that cliff?

So Ray has decided to become an arsonist.

Your leg is healed, but that made you leave the infirmary with those crutches.

Wait, does she know what a Molotov is?

Let's not resort to self-immolation.

Honestly, I never saw this battle of wits coming down to just burning everything down.

No Ray! Don't immolate yourself! The demons hate burnt food!

Don't arrive to their table pre-cooked.

Won't they just freeze you and thaw you out later?

She looks like she's about to write Charlotte Bronte.

Well, the demons won't want to eat raw meat.

"Save the brain?" Are they demons or zombies?

We didn't start the fire...Oh, who am I kidding? Of course we did.

We don't need no water, let the motherf**ker burn!

Emma pulled a Van Gogh.

Oh, and...you're still alive Ray.

So they're just a bunch of one-eared kids running through the forest.

There's that pen again.

For Norman. And Conny. And all those sibligs who died before this show started.

She made one fatal mistake. She underestimated a group of children.

And from here on out, Emma and Ray will say "What?!" intermittently.

Honestly, I always felt it was sort of a cheat that they just decided, "Oh yeah, we can just go ahead and tell all the other kids." Like, they changed the rules or something.

Phil. Always showing up at the most inopportune times.

"We're all gonna escape safely!"
In the next few episodes we watch them all get killed one by one.

Mom is the new Krone.

Uhh...you missed one.

Not all of Family Guy has aged well (and he knows this - hell, he's friends with the PTC president now) but I genuinely think Seth MacFarlane is a really good guy.

Imagine a broadcast TV network giving someone who worked at the Golden Age of Cartoon Network the opportunity to worked on a show, and doing 8 interviews, only to completely ghosted him for weeks for absolutely no reason.

Try to wrap your head around on that one, folks.

Seriously. Explain that to me, Memorable Entertainment Television? :/
Didn't notice that the site was back...

I'll start off by saying X-Men 97 has been a blast to watch. As someone who grew up exposed to the films and cameos on other shows, it was definitely a different treat seeing how both iterations of the franchise handle the characters and their world.
Professor X's speech in today's episode was powerful ... nuff said.
I've ground my wisdom tooth down overtime so that I can clench my jaw properly again. It's equal parts good and bad news.
Daffy Duck turns 87 today. Happy birthday to my favorite Looney Tune!
