Previously on Dr. Stone: Uhh...see the video I posted above, I guess.

Robert Louis Stevenson would sue someone, were his story not in the public domain and were he not dead.

"One of these days, Kohaku. Zoom! Pow! To the moon! And no, I'm not talking about spouse abuse."

Hi, welcome back, by the way some time may have passed.

Hi, your leader has been conquered, you're all jobless now, you're welcome.

And Krillin's now in charge.

And already Senku's exploiting the island for its natural resources.

Thank God for the seemingly inexhaustible supply of revival fluid.

"I'm sorry I couldn't save you, father. But at least you'll make a nice garden statue."

"We're going to be allies with this island. Which means they do everything we tell them to."

A windmill. Cue the conservatives whining about how useless it is.

You have acquired CAFFEINE!

"Should we be excited for something?"
Only when Senku tells us to "get excited."

Post-apocalyptic Watson, come here, I need you.

"I wonder how many times someone can get petrified and return to life."
"Seems unlimited to me."
During the episode that says otherwise.

"I see so clearly now!"
The rain is gone!

Keep your clothes on, folks. This isn't Food Wars.

Makes sense, seeing as how you're a prince around here.

Starting to think Ginro should have stayed petrified.

Soyuz stays behind, but Kirisame is joining up. Just as well, she has the cooler design.

Fireworks. The universal method of celebration.

Oh. Well, uh, in America we just blow them up because it looks cool.

What's a festival episode without fireworks?

Getting a bit Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 around here.

"The science of gunpowder lives in the hearts of many, and fives hope for the future."
Which, I guess, is why the Nobel prize was created?

They've gone from rocks to rockets in a few years.

"It really lived up to the name Treasure Island."
Yeah, except there were no pirates or buried treasure or a crazy old hermit.

"We're home! And we brought science!"

Bringin' Tsukasa back, baby!

^The space pod in the big tree was the buried treasure.

Makes sense Soyuz wanted to stay on Treasure Island and revive everyone petrified. Lose 1, gain 2. Quite interesting choice for Kirisame to join up on Soyuz's request.

Nice coda with Senku thinking about his dad and launching the fireworks for the islanders. Not surprised Senku was like that as a kid, heh.

Did bring up a good point, they still don't know what Why-Man is and don't really know what kind of a fight is in store when they head to the Moon

That's right. They have a petrification device so now they can heal and revive Tsukasa. If it still has power. Ah, it'll have power. We need the anime happy ending reunion between brother and sister.

Hmm, I suppose they're going to have to search for a couple aerospace engineers to revive as well as getting more materials. But who knows. If these villages were what sprang up in Japan the past 3700 years, kinda curious if similar or slightly more advanced ones cropped up in other parts of the world like Europe or the USA. Probably more enemies so to be turned frenemies are on the horizon.

Last week was about diplomacy and forging alliances.

This week it's about bringing last season's now-reformed big bag back to life.

In any case, it's the season finale, so we need to leave this spot nice and clean, because Ninja Kamui's gonna leave a big mess, I fear.

Dr. Stone: New World
Episode 22
"Beyond the New World"

With the petrification device in the Kingdom's hands, it's time to revive Tsukasa. But there's just one problem: the device is out of batteries.
When Tsukasa wakes up, he'd better not see you posting spoilers.

Previously on Dr. Stone: "We need to resurrect the guy who tried to kill me! I'm sure he'll be nice this time."

An all-purpose panacea. And all you have to do is turn yourself into inanimate rock for a few minutes.

Beyond the New World? Hey, we just got past Thunderdome.

Last time: You have acquired UNITED NATIONS!

Let's hope he doesn't try to kill you this time.

You never patched that up?

I don't know about you, but I'd say a doomsday device with a dead battery sounds like a good thing.

I still have question about the whole medical side of this.

KEEP PRESSING AND SQUEEZING AND PRESSING AND SQUEEZING AND PRESSING AND SQUEEZING!

No killing this time, okay?

I thought the Mobius thing shot the green glow from all around itself?

Welcome back Tsukasa.

"Oh, sure, hit me with that right away."

Ginro turned into a Brachiosaurus for a second.

Well, that was fast.

"Sorry, we can't get rid of Senku's marks. We have to keep his design consistent for marketing purposes."

And same goes for everyone else, I guess.

In my day, the only way to heal yourself by getting stoned was through medical marijuana.

Okay, somebody deck Ginro please.

Aww, I kinda wanted to see them fight.

Time to call the Why-Not Man.

"Smells bad in the absolute best way!"
Not the thing to say to a chef's face.

"Next time we won't be back for several months!"
Considering how long it takes to produce anime seasons, I'd say that's an absolute minimum.

South America has a giant robot? Since when? (They're not talking about Christ the Redeemer, are they?)

Welp, time to renew the Age of Colonialism.

"We'll be like Columbus."
Uh, yeah, I REALLY wouldn't make that comparison.

We go beyond the new world, but there's no getting beyond Thunderdome.

You have acquired PLANETARIUM! Now reinvent Led Zeppelin quick!

Corn City, Rubber City, Aluminum City...Math City?

"Jeez, water everywhere!"
And not a drop to drink.

Don't compare yourself to Columbus. He killed native populations for gold.
