Shrapnel Shrapnel Named Named It It: My My Review Review Of Of "The The" "The The"
Dr. Wierd Dr. Wierd: Voo Doo Voo Doo Dr. Wierd Dr. Wierd
Highlights Highlights: Everyone Everyone being being infected infected, Explosions Explosions, Frylock Frylock being being shunned shunned, (extra extra 2 2 points points), F F bomb bomb, the the ending ending
I really liked when Moonlites "crashed" Frylock's party. It would have been funny if Frylock invited the Plutoians as well and they would have ineract with the Moonlites.
Man, I was kind of half-expecting The The to actually show up in this episode, but maybe they broke up and I'm not aware of it, oh well. I jsut wonder if this might be a set up for something, hmmm.
Frylock Moves Out And All Hell Breaks Loose In The Aqua Teen Hunger Force Episode Review of "The The".
You know, this has been a plot talked about for sometime. People have speculated that Frylock would move out of the Teens house and be replaced by someone, which kind of happens here. Of course, due to the nature of ATHF's continuity, he'll be back next week (well, New Years Eve) but hey, it's a pretty fun ride while it lasts. Highlights include seeing Shake in the mask, Shake giving Frylock a door of how much a hellhole they're house has become, Shake's parting words to Frylock, playing Chicken ball with Meatwad (who has developed problems seeing because of chicken salmanila polluting his eyes), Carl only helping Frylock move because he thought all the other teens were moving out, Frylocks phone calls, his neighbor basically saying "stay away you freak", no one showing up to his party so he actually had to call the Moonintes over (in which they trashed his apartment and stole some of his food. Heh, those crazy Moonintes. You haven't gotten old yet), Frylock visiting and giving the other teens some Ointment and hot dog things, and Finally Frylock deciding not to move back in. I give this episode an A.
A step down from last week's pwnage, but I was entertained. Good progressively funnier, starting off a tad slow, but I was roffling by Frylock's "Hell no" by the end. =)
Solid episode. Best parts were everyone getting diseased, the Mooninites, and the ending (figured Frylock wouldn't want to go back to that hellhole). B+
BTW, when Carl was over at Frylock's condo, I thought he would move in with Frylock, since he hates him the least and wants to get away from Shake and Meatwad. Would've liked to see that.
I can't beleive I'm the only one who remembered that documentary about David Lynch and his meat sculptures.
Great episode. Kinda sagged a little until the Mooninites showed up and were actually pretty active for once--usually they just set people up for trouble instead of going on a spray-can raampage, but I guess Mexican Beer is more powerful than I thought.
For some reason, I wish sometimes that there would be an occasional "spark" of continuity in this show since I liked the whole situation of Frylock moving out of the apartment...but it will probably be about as long as Danzig moving into Carl's place. But other than that, it was a slow but pretty good episode (well at least it was a lot less gross than last weeks...don't mind the stuff that much, but "The Dressing" went a bit too far) Highlights include the cameo by & , seeing a splattered Meatwad early on and a good ending by Frylock similar to his final "say" in "Universal Remonster". (sometimes the last line on the show could be the best)
on the 27th, i will be seeing one of my childhood fave country artists live, Kathy Mattea. she comes here every year just about, but i've never actually gotten to go until now. so this'll be pretty nice for me.
Now that Tubi has added all 10 seasons of the 1987 TMNT, I would like to see them go to WBD and grab all 9 seasons of the Hanna-Barbera Smurfs cartoon. And also the original Looney Tunes.
