I'm seriously gonna have to stop watching this show if the very very very nasty grossout "humor" ever present in Season 3 does not stop..

Im guessing your a girl, but yeah they have been doing alot of pretty sick things this season.

As for this episode it was pretty good not as good as the last few, but it wasn't bad.

The tree court had me in tears.

I second that. The top-notch writing and the "gross out" humor that actually works is ginormously awesome. I was in stitches the moment Shake got his first summons all the way until the forest burned down.

Classic stuff...Hey WS, hurry up and release a Volume 2...like now.

Not too shabby. The Tree court was good, but I wish they went on a little longer with the Cow. That was pure comedic gold and they breezed on by it with nary a glance. Oh well.

Couldn't agree more. Loved how Frylock decided to end the damn thing by blasting all the trees.

Another Great episode of ATHF.

*T-bone.. tofu.. lol.
*that stuff that was injected into that cow was nasty. chedder and pepperjack cheese and whatever else..
*The whole tree court thing was funny.
*Meatwad going on about his wife and such.
*The trees using Carl as a post it note was hilarious. Kept tearing off his skin.. OmG.
*And after things fall apart, Frylock just frys all of the trees.. lol

Overall an A. I loved it. As nasty as it was, I thought it was just so freaking hilarious.

Haven't seen all of it, currently thanking CN for deciding to do the late night repeats.

But from what I've seen, yet another classic. The gross out humor works in ATHF where it failed in Ren and Stimpy's "Onward and Upward"... because it's more sparing and it's in tandem with great writing so that it is actually really funny. I have no problem with it because it works.

Using Carl as a human post it note pad was great. Just about a month from now till we can finally get our hands on the season 1 DVD set!

The "Where's my wife" thing had me busting a gut. Meatwad really sounded worried. It was probably the best "from left field" joke of the night.

Best ep of this season yet! Had all the season 1 elements that I love in it.
Shake not gettin in any turoble, Meatwad being really dumb, Frylock more passive agressive, and Carl getting hurt really bad!
If every episode were like this I would explode!!!
Finally a fresh Dr. Weird opening!
A+++++!

And then beat the poor thing down with its own arms...:p

What was up with Meatwad talking about his wife?

Great episode. Possibly the best Dr. Weird opening yet all the way to the great ending (just blow it all up, then hide in the closet to avoid bills) makes a great episode.

lol. I forgot about that part when i posted earlier. That was a hilarious part. Shake trying to pretend he was a tree and he even beat down the twig with his own arms... :D

Yeah that was so funny. Even though you can't really see Meatwad's facial expressions it truly sounded serious.. :D and Shake was all "Shut up, I'm trying to talk here" or something like that.. OMG

Shake Once Again Destroys The Enviornment In The Aqua Teen Hunger Force "Revenge Of The Trees" Episode Review.

"Gentlemen, fill me with barbeque sauce, cause I'm as dumb as hell." Says Steve, talking to a Japanese guy as a Giant Dr. Weird Head comes in and bites Steve's head off. Great opening to an average show. I don't know why, but this really wasn't that great an episode. Worst of the season actually. Not that it wasn't good though. I liked Frylock's barbeque (So it's offical: Like Beast Boy on "Teen Titans" Frylock is a vegetarian who prefers Tofu to meat. And is mocked for that), Shake buying that cow and grill and him and Carl eating it, then Shake and Carl spilling the oil in the woods and Shake having to go to tree court. Notice how the main trees were voiced by Matt and Dave: Who also voice the mooonintes. Good to see they can pull of more then one pair of characters interacting in a diffrent way. Highlights of Tree Court were: The judge the trees had ("He's guilty") Frylock trying to say that Shake did it but is sorry, Shake dressing up as a tree, and Frylock blasting those trees away. The ending was okay (I was gonna ask why is Shake paving they're doorway, but then realized it's best not to ask how he thinks) but nothing special. All in all, a good episode I give a B+ to.

I'm definately in the minority here, but ATHF was the 'meh' show for me tonight.

Dr. Weird... WTF, but not in a good way this time.

Beginning had preachy nutrition yaddayadda, exagerating bad (and/or "bad") foodstuffs just to add to an overstuffed (so to speak) cliche all over the culture: eating = heart attack.

The second half was marred, for me, by the Carl stuff. Just gross. None of the finesse of the gross-out ellement last week.

There were LOL moments sprinkled throughout, but not enough to redeem it all.

The LOL line of the night, however, was on ATHF: Carl saying, "[something something]. Hope your house burns down!" :D (It's funnier with the full quote; it was something like "See you later" or something, right? (or something  )

Yet another great episode. Only thing missing was Season 4's gratuitous Frylock F-bomb of the week.

Update after reading DianaGohan's post...

They did poke fun at Frylock's opposite food extreme from Shake and Carl's... improved that part in retrospect, somewhat.

Also, the 2nd main tree was the same guy that does the non-German-sounding other aliens. Not sure if it's Matt or Dave, or whether the other of the two does the German-sounding alien or not.

DG's description of the Dr. Weird opening sounds better to me. I'll have to catch the opening in reruns (not tonight's rerun, though).

Heh.... 'Shake'n'Carl'... that sounds like very bad food! :D
