Toon Zone was able to breifly catch up with Bruce Timm and discuss the current DVDs, as well as new animated Batman DVDs that may be coming soon.
When asked about whether or not WB will be producing future installments of the Batman animated DVDs, Bruce Timm said he didn't know if WB plans to do more, but "if they sell well enough, I'm guessing they'll do more." Bruce Timm also said that he'd be willing to do commentaries for the new DVD, if they come to pass.

Bruce Timm, who was not apart of the creative team behind Sub-Zero said:
"Yeah, it IS kinda odd....they originally asked me to do one of those "talking head" intros for "Sub-Zero", but since i wasn't involved in that project at all, I had to decline...I suggested they contact Boyd [Kirkland] for HIS introductory comments/recollections, but I guess they never did...it's too bad."
In a previous interview, Boyd Kirkland confirmed that Warner Bros. made no attempt to contact him, stating:
"...no one at Warners made any attempt to contact me to see if I would be interested in doing any commentary, introduction, provide artwork or info on behind-the-scenes making of, etc., which I would have been happy to do."
Boyd Kirkland directed, co wrote, and co produced Sub-Zero. Discuss This Movie Here! He also directed the Batman episode "Nothing to Fear", which is on the current Batman: The Animated Series: The Legend Begins DVD. Discuss The DVD Here.
