Yes, but he claimed it was something he wasn't. He lied.
He never said it was an upcoming schedule. He was just posting an old schedule, hence "throwback". In the future, if you think someone is posting false info, please report them and the staff will look into it. Simply also pointing out something is false is fine too since that way others can know, but please don't basically call people liars.

Oh I see. I had misunderstood. I thought he was claiming it as a new schedule.

And why not?
Unlike the previous PBS Kids channel, the current incarnation is barely on any cable/satellite provider, and if it is, it's the station's subchannel carrying the channel. In other words, WarnerMedia should have no problem with putting Sesame Street on Boomerang due to the fact that PBS Kids is an over-the-air channel as opposed to a basic cable channel...

Tbh I would be okay with Sesame Street airing on Boomerang. I believe Boomerang Nordic and some other international feeds aired preschool based shows on the channel. Plus I believe Tickle-U programs aired for a couple days on Boomerang. I only say that because I can recall watching Peppa Pig on there. I was pretty young at the time so I can’t recall everything else from Tickle U on Boomerang.

There’s also the fact that PBS affiliates still air Sesame Street, and, unlike The subchannel, are usually available on cable and satellite. Not to mention you can get the subchannel for free online.

PBS has the broadcast rights, but that's not the same as cable rights, which is what Warner Media has. What could complicate things is whether or not WarnerMedia's deal with Sesame Workshop only allows them to air it on HBO (I imagine this would be an exception since its a special event). In any case, I don't see why Boomerang would start airing Sesame Street regularly. Cartoonito is a preschool channel while Boomerang is not.

Cartoonito isn’t a channel in many countries(including here), and Boomerang kind of fills that niche in non-Cartoonito countries. And that complication is what Ive been worrying about- that this is only A special case, and normally CN/Boom couldn’t air it since it’s exclusive to HBO.
