Boomerang CEE was planning to air Tom and Jerry: The Movie after its 2,5 year absence (probably with the remastered print too) in December, but it was postponed.

I thought CITV was going to get it.

Don't forget RTÉ 2 and TG4 in Ireland, La 2 in Spain and Rai 2 in Italy (these last two only aired very few CN shows, Rai was more interested in Disney).
On the topic of TG4, they've acquired the broadcasting rights to Taffy Season 1.

Boomerang UK Press Release: New Study Conducted By Boomerang Reveals That Kids Think It Is Cool To Be Clever: Mums, smartphones and Tom & Jerry amongst the coolest things according to British kids.

The same survey was also conducted in eight countries across the EMEA region (France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey and UK), the study included 1900 kids aged 4-7 and parents.

This is probably the first press release featuring the new WarnerMedia EMEA Head of Kids.

It looks like it's an Alice in Wonderland prequel cartoon
View attachment 284602
well, it's not really like a prequel. Sure, Alice is younger in this reincarnation of the story, but all the action seems to happen after the events of the main story. And of course, every element is more childish than it should, plus it's like not much other characters live there besides the main and recurring ones.
Ben 10 S4.2 + movie, LazyTown S1-4, TJS S2, TTG S5 will come too.
Strange that they will add TTG, considering that it is still on Netflix internationally. I wonder why they only started with the second season of S-DaGW, should have first added the first season and S2 a few months later. It would be more logical...

As for HBO Go, The Fungies will soon be added, so that's more good news. :)

Boomerang CEE Schedule and Highlights for the first month of 2021

There is literally only one new thing this month on Boomerang CEE, and that is a block called Let's Play Detective. From what I see, it will be something like this from the French feed, with his new CGI character called Sherlock Holmes Jr. which will have bumpers in-between the series where he will solve all sorts of riddles and games with the "young viewers", like very stupid questions of "Which pose of Grizz corresponds to this shillouete" (like in the video I sent link to). This block will start from 18th January and will air for at least one more month everyday, from 07.00 till 10.00 CET.

There will be no new episodes premieres this month at all.

But, there are still some schedule changes (from 4th January):
- Kingdom Force will get more airtime, as it will start airing at 18.20 CET replacing Mighty Mike, which will move down a slot to 19.00 CET replacing Agent Binky: Pets of the Universe. For the first time Boomerang Playground will have a full-hour slot for one of its shows.
- Agent Binky is gone from the schedule this month.
- Baby Looney Tunes is also back, airing at 19.20 CET replacing the second showing of Pat the Dog.
- As part of that Sherlock block, Taffy will return to the daytime schedule airing at 08.20 CET, while Tom and Jerry, Grizzy and Mr. Bean will also be part of the block. Grizzy and Taffy will replace Mr. Bean's earlier full-hour showing at 08.00 CET.
- The Tom and Jerry/Scooby-Doo Winter marathon (with The Tom and Jerry Show, Be Cool Scooby-Doo, New Scooby-Doo Movies and films from the two franchises) will continue airing daily until 17th January, when starting from the following week (18/01) it will once again be aired only on weekends, until the very end of the month (31/01) when it will be over.
- Mr. Magoo is back to the schedule this month from 18th January, returning to its 13.00 CET slot (replacing Tom and Jerry) while it will also start airing at 20.00 CET replacing the other mister, Mr. Bean.
- Lamput will lose it's 08.40 CET airing but it will start airing again at 14.40 CET, weekdays, from 18th January. They always have this thing of showing the Lamput shorts only after Mr. Bean.

Schedule from 4th January onwards:

(All times CET, changes are bolded; slots marked in jungle green are part of Boomerang Playground; slots marked in sky blue are part of Wintertime with Scooby-Doo and Tom and Jerry; slots marked in bubblegum pink are part of Sherlock Holmes Jr.)

06.00 Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!
07.00 The Tom and Jerry Show / The Tom and Jerry Show (from 18/01)
08.00 Mr. Bean: The Animated Series / Grizzy and The Lemmings (from 18/01)
08.20 Taffy (from 18/01)

09.00 Mr. Bean: The Animated Series / Mr. Bean: The Animated Series (from 18/01)
09.40 Lamput
10.00 Wintertime with Scooby-Doo and Tom and Jerry / Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! (weekdays; from 18/01)
11.00 Wintertime with Scooby-Doo and Tom and Jerry / Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! (weekdays; from 18/01)
12.00 Wintertime with Scooby-Doo and Tom and Jerry / Ben 10 (reboot) (weekdays; from 18/01)
13.00 Wintertime with Scooby-Doo and Tom and Jerry / Mr. Magoo (2019) (weekdays; from 18/01)
14.00 Wintertime with Scooby-Doo and Tom and Jerry / Mr. Bean: The Animated Series (weekdays; from 18/01)
14.40 Lamput
15.00 Wintertime with Scooby-Doo and Tom and Jerry / Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! (weekdays; from 18/01)
16.00 Wintertime with Scooby-Doo and Tom and Jerry / The Tom and Jerry Show (weekdays; from 18/01)
17.00 Alice and Lewis
17.20 Pat the Dog
18.00 Kingdom Force
19.00 Mighty Mike
19.20 Baby Looney Tunes

20.00 Mr. Bean: The Animated Series / Mr. Magoo (2019) (weekdays; from 18/01)
20.40 Lamput
21.00 New Looney Tunes
22.00 Grizzy and The Lemmings
23.00 My Knight and Me
00.00 Taffy
01.00 Grizzy and The Lemmings
02.00 Pat The Dog
03.00 My Knight and Me
04.00 Taffy
05.00 Grizzy and The Lemmings

For the sake of more variety, they could have moved Agent Binky at 18.20 CET instead of more unneeded Kingdom Force, or better, instead of (UGH!!) the Ben 10 reboot whose place clearly isn't on this channel.

Boomerang CEE went downhill fast since the merge with the German feed.

Boomerang Italy did nothing this Christmas, besides the same crap European shows running almost the entire day. For 2 years they've been doing an Halloween pop up instead of a Christmas one, and in both cases only new Scooby Doo series.

The only way to expect classics these days is to wait for the June pop up channel. Considering how it lasts no longer than 2 weeks and there are hundreds of Looney Tunes cartoons in rotation, it gets very frustrating.

EDIT: I have some kind of specific question for Boomerang UK viewers. Did anyone see the cartoon Fright Before Christmas? I have an incomplete recording, and I'd like info on what title card it had.

Yesterday, like CN Arabic, Boomerang MENA also aired Tom & Jerry Marathon, but it was the theatrical shorts, as of this picture.

Boomerang Thailand still haven't changed their logo
No, they won’t be rebrand at all, they actually preferred to use the 2004/2005 European Logo, after all Boomerang feeds got rebranded in 2015.

Since Boomerang Asia came to 3BB Giga TV, Boomerang Thailand’s future is going unknown, and would shutdown as soon as possible.
