Boomerang CEE Schedule and Highlights for September 2020

- Kingdom Force joins the schedule on 1st September, airing at 18.00 CET with reruns at 10.00 CET. The first 13 episodes will air until 11th September. Two new episodes will air on the first two days, and a new one each day from 03/09 onwards.
- Pat The Dog returns to the daytime schedule after two years, as a brand new season will premiere on 21st August. New episodes will air at 17.20 CET, with reruns the day after at 09.20 CET.
- A brand new programming block is introduced this month, called "Boomerang Playground". It will be dedicated to the preschoolers, as it consists of programs that target the 3-4 years-old viewers. As part of it will air: Baby Looney Tunes, Pat The Dog, Kingdom Force, Mighty Mike, Agent Binky and Grizzy and The Lemmings. The block will be broadcast twice per day, from 09.00 till 12.00 CET and then from 17.00 till 20.00 CET. So yeah, pretty much this is like a revival of Cartoonito However, I wouldn't really consider Mighty Mike and Grizzy as preschoolish series....... even though their simple animation style may make it look like so very much! Not only that, but the hourly schedule will NOT be respected during this block, as every hour will be shared by two shows.

Schedule changes:
- Be Cool Scooby-Doo replaces Agent Binky at 06.00 CET. The same will be for the latter's airing at 15.00 CET.
- The Tom and Jerry Show replaces Mr. Bean at 07.00 CET and Mighty Mike at 16.00 CET.
- Mr. Magoo replaces The Tom and Jerry Show at 13.00 CET.
- Mr. Bean replaces Grizzy and The Lemmings at 20.00 CET.
- Besides Baby Looney Tunes returning for the Boomerang Playground block, New Looney Tunes is also back this month as part of the regular line-up, after almost an year of absence (not counting the airings as part of marathons). It will be shown at 21.00 CET instead of Grizzy and The Lemmings. A good change actually, as Looney Tunes haven't been aired regularly on Boomerang recently, but still, they could have chosen a better slot for it, and not just at the end of primetime.
- Lamput isn't mentioned in the new schedule structure that I received, and I don't know if it has been actually removed from the line-up or not. I am still gonna keep it listed on the normal slots it has at the moment, until forther confirmation.

Well,this slipped past me.
Apparently, Cartoonito UK uploaded clips from Flintstone Kids a few months back.


I can't confirm if any episodes ever aired, as it doesn't appear to be on the schedule now. They did the same with Tom & Jerry Kids, and that show wasn't on again this year.

More likely this was a tie-in for Yabba Dabba Dinosaurs?

Well, again, I think this was just a tie-in for Yabba Dabba Dinosaurs, which was premiering on Boomerang at the time. Same thing as to why Boomerang UK's YouTube channel uploaded a few Flintstone clips.

No other classics have been posted on their YouTube.

It probably won't end up on Disney Channel US (which aired Season 1) because they treated the show poorly...

Well, Disney Channel didn't even air the final S1 episodes of Pat the Dog anyways. The show is treated better internationally.

This was Boomerang Korea's schedule this week. There's Lots & Lots of Korean imports, very few Boomerang original series, and rebroadcasts of a few shows that air on CN Korea. One of the strangest Boomerang feeds I've ever seen.

They did announce it one year ago or so. But I didn't expect it to make it on Boomerang CEE, since I thought they abandoned to care about the series.

It's so weird to see Pat the Dog not available on any legal streaming service here in the U.S., especially Season 2. (only a few episodes available on their official YT channel)

Many U.S. channels and streaming services abandon French and other European shows after a few episodes even, or one season the most. It's nothing new.

Also, surprised to see the feeds that always continued to air the original PPG even while the reboot was still going. Now Boomerang USA will air reruns of the classic PPG soon, but it's because the reboot is now over.

It looks like Boomerang CEE returned to air 22-minute length shows divided into 2 parts with correct opening and ending credits (albeit without WB logo at the end of the shows).
Previously some shows have been aired with automated opening and ending credits.

As a part of an update (yeah with relation to CN topic, also CN PL started to air Gumball and TTG with correct opening and ending titles (albeit TTG has ECP Credits at the end).

Desynchro issues on Polish audio track of Boomerang/Cartoonito CEE a few years ago (S1E18 of BLT). For some reason, you can hear the Cartoonito bumper at the beginning of "Taz You Like It"
At least, the error as not long as in Episode 25b of "Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries", where 54 seconds of the episode have been cut (in other words, in the Polish audio, BM CEE played an audio from the uncensored version of the episode, while the 3 scenes have been cut for obvious' reason).
