I decide to make this the schedule because it sounds very real, and because most of the other shows are in the international Boomerangs. I previously thought of having Oggy and the Cockroaches in the schedule, but when I saw Nick acquiring it, I dropped it. I also decided to make this schedule because it has a good mixture of new and old. What are your thoughts of my schedule?

I wouldn't even put live action programming on Da Boom, aside from Banana Splits or Skatebirds. You guys gotta think this through.

Da Boom does need some help, so let's see what we can do:

Weekdays:

6-9 (ET): Boomerlegends:

6-Tom & Jerry
7-Looney Tunes
8-Pink Panther
8:30-Popeye

9-Garfield Show
9:30-Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?

12-Snorks
12:30-Flintstone Kids
1-A Pup Named Scooby-Doo
1:30-Tom & Jerry Kids

2-Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends
2:30-Powerpuff Girls
3-Chowder
3:30-Cow & Chicken
4-Grim Advs. of Billy & Mandy
4:30-Life & Times of Juniper Lee

5-8: Boomeraction:

5-Thundercats (start with the 1985 series)
5:30-He-Man (2002 series)
6-Justice League
6:30-Young Justice
7-Teen Titans
7:30-Ben 10

8-11: Boomerlegends (repeats morning block with different episodes)

11-Johnny Bravo
11:30-Space Ghost Coast to Coast (2 episodes)

12-6: Boomervault (forgotten favorites from the H-B/Ruby-Spears/WB libraries)

Weekends:

6-Hamtaro (remember when it was on CN?)
6:30-Snorks
7-Smurfs
8-Boomerang Zoo
9-Boomerang Theatre
10:30 (if a 90 minute movie airs)-various-can be tied into the movie.

11-Tom & Jerry Show

@Ducktales Fan: Only 4 live action shows? You surprise me. I figured your fantasy schedule would be more like an old school Nick at Nite. ;)

I'm too lazy to type an entire week's schedule, so instead I'll just list the highlights:

- No live action programming except for host segments (EX: The Banana Splits) and live action/animation hybrids (EX: The Phantom Tollbooth or Who Framed Roger Rabbit?)
- A program block aimed at younger viewers would air on weekday mornings.
- Early afternoons would be made up of programming blocks;
- HA! HA! HA! - a comedy cartoon block consisting of Looney Tunes and MGM shorts, as well as 1990s Cartoon-Cartoons.
- Sparkle - a block of girl centric cartoons and Kick! - a block for action, super hero themed cartoons would alternate on weekday afternoons.
- Prime Time hours (8 PM to 11 PM) would be for premieres.
- Weekend prime time premiere blocks would air on Friday and Saturday nights.
- Old school H-B toons, Popeye cartoons and Boomeraction would air on late nights.
- The TBS Cartoon Planet would air on weekend afternoons and the CN episodes of Space Ghost: Coast to Coast would air on late nights.

Here's my take on what Boom should've done this Valentine's Day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.:

11:30AM Grojband - "All You Need is Cake / It's In the Card"
12:00PM The Garfield Show - "Fitness Crazed / Bride and Broom"
12:30PM Codename: Kids Next Door - "Operation: G.I.R.L.F.R.I.E.N.D."
1:00PM It's Valentine's Day, Johnny Bravo

I honestly can't make a fantasy schedule until there's enough new shows on Boom (and right now there is only 4, which are Numb Chucks, The Seriously Overplayed Garfield Show, The Tom and Jerry Show assuming it isn't canceled, and Grojband even though in this show's case all it's episodes already aired via Watch CN).

I did make a schedule for what I've would of wanted to see as a pre-rebrand schedule but I think it's pretty redundant to post.

Cartoon Network apparently still has 26 episodes left in their order, and considering TT&JS receives more timeslots on Boomerang than CN (with the latter currently allotting one :30 slot), and the promotion in its press material, it's a safe bet the remaining episodes will air on Boom. Whether it gets renewed for a third season is yet to be determined; WB's reboots rarely go past two seasons, but considering this series is essential to Boomerang's ratings, there could be an exception (á la Teen Titans GO!).

I feel like Turner could benefit greatly if they did a "Throwback Thursday" schedule. Play the "contemporary classics" and "new arrivals" the rest of the days of the week, but leave Thursday to the real classics!

I remember saying I wouldn't make a fantasy schedule, but eh why not? This is a schedule I was hoping we'd get after January, but we couldn't get it because it's illegal for CN and Boom to have variety these days. I made some modifications to the current schedule, I also swapped the TTGo! and Gumball with other current CN shows.

Good schedule, Pac-Attack, but why do you have current CN shows on your Boom schedule? Regular Show, Steven Universe, and Sonic Boom has no reason to be on Boom if they're still running on CN. Having first-running CN shows on Boomerang makes the channel look like Cartoon Network 2, TBH.

To be fair these are shows that don't really air on CN that much, plus Regular Show isn't even on right now and Sonic Boom is a 3rd party show, it probably wouldn't get anymore slots on CN anyways. But let's be fair, like it or not, it seems obvious Boomerang will also air first-run CN shows like they are with TTGo! and Gumball right now. Besides 3 shows wouldn't automatically make it CN 2 (and even then Boomerang is pretty much a CN 2 anyways, just with older shows and unwanted acquisitions like Numb Chucks).

Maybe I'm just okay with them doing it since I'm used to seeing Nicktoons and Disney XD do the same thing (the latter network is debatable nowadays considering how DC is anti-animation these days). But even then, I'd only have a problem with it if, for one, they are shows that air enough on the main network (like TTGo! and Gumball) or if the shows themselves hog the schedule (then it would actually be a CN 2). But otherwise, meh I'm alright with them doing it.

Boomerang might as well join Nicktoons and TeenNick now.
