Maybe, but I am far from convinced of that.

That is an odd position to defend when the Joker has appeared on Justice League.

Without getting too into it, for the sake of staying on topic, I've come to the conclusion that the Joker we see in JL is actually a 2nd clone made the same way Tim Drake was - using Cadmus technology and implanting DNA of the original Joker into an un-identified specimen. Do you really think Joker would have put all his eggs in one basket when he could have made more than one duplicate of himself? I do not think so. Yes, it's my own personal head-canon, but if you want visual consistency in the DCAU, it's the best possible explanation for why we see Joker twice in JL. The JL Joker is then killed by Ace (re-watch that scene and tell me one can't infer he's dead). Since we never see Joker after that, it all works with no issues. And in ROTJ when Bruce says he was present at Joker's death, he was technically present at both the original and the clone's death. For some reason, people get REALLY angry at me for this theory, but I don't care. At the end of the day, this stuff is all fiction anyway, so it can be subjective. I am a strong proponent of head-canon and fan theories.

As far as I'm concerned, unless it is officially stated otherwise, this is in canon with the rest of the timmverse dcau. It's no accident that this feature shares the same voice actors, the same animation style, and some of the same people involved in the production of the dcau over the years...

I doubt this movie would be in the DCAU. If it was, it'd probably cause a lot of continuity snarls considering you'd have to make sure it fits within an almost 15 year long universe of cartoons. I'm pretty sure even the most seasoned adult viewers of the DCAU would have trouble keeping track of connecting continuity. The movie could be inspired by the DCAU, but I doubt it would be in that universe. Just because Samurai Jack did it with season 5 doesn't mean everything will do that, could do that, or should do that. I'm sorry if I sound whiny. I just don't want this movie to get significant criticism from the more obsessive fans blowing any flaws that could pop up out of proportion. Besides, to paraphrase what Jim Krieg said "The movie is inspired by Batman: The Animated Series, buy don't show it to your kids thinking that it is Batman: The Animated Series. It is its own thing."

Well I can only speak for myself, but keeping track of DCAU continuity (especially when it's focused on mainly one character) isn't very difficult to do at all.

The press details for the Batman and Harley Quinn world premiere have been released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. Details below.

WARNER BROS. HOME ENTERTAINMENT PRESENTS WORLD PREMIERE OF
ANIMATED DC UNIVERSE ORIGINAL MOVIE
BATMAN AND HARLEY QUINN
JULY 21 AT COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL

Celebrating a decade of DC Universe Original Movie world premieres in San Diego, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE) will once again give fans their first look at an all-new animated feature with the presentation of Batman and Harley Quinn on the Friday night (July 21, 2017) of Comic-Con International.

Since the debut of the DC Universe Original Movies in 2007 with Superman: Doomsday, WBHE has premiered its next-to-be-released film (when available) before 4,250 ardent fans in the San Diego Convention Center’s massive Ballroom 20.

In Batman and Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Jason Woodrue (a.k.a. The Floronic Man) embark on an ecological quest to save the planet – and, unfortunately, eliminate most of humankind along the way. To save humanity, Batman and Nightwing are forced to enlist Harley Quinn to catch Poison Ivy, Harley’s BFF and frequent partner-in-crime. But Batman’s patience is put to the test by the unpredictable and untrustworthy Harley during the twists and turns the reluctant companions face during their bumpy road trip. The result is a thrill ride of action, adventure and comedy no Batman fan has seen before.

The world premiere of Batman and Harley Quinn will include a post-screening panel discussion among available members of the core cast and filmmaking team. Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds) and Kevin Michael Richardson (The Cleveland Show) provide the voices of the villainous duo Poison Ivy & Jason Woodrue, respectively.

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, Batman and Harley Quinn is directed by Sam Liu (Batman: The Killing Joke) from an original story by Bruce Timm (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns) with a teleplay written by Timm & Jim Krieg (Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox). Co-Producer is Alan Burnett (The Batman). Executive Producers are Sam Register and Bruce Timm. Benjamin Melniker and Michael Uslan are Executive Producers.

It's nice to have the film confirmed for a Comic-Con screening. I look forward to the rest of the "cool news coming all week" that Gary Miereanu teased on Twitter.

Harley's body seems to be unnaturally contorting in that image. I know she's an olympic level gymnast, but I'm not sure if that pose is anatomically possible .

I don't know about that. However, we did just learn about the limited screenings in the U.K., so we could easily anticipate the Fathom Events announcement.

Not all of Family Guy has aged well (and he knows this - hell, he's friends with the PTC president now) but I genuinely think Seth MacFarlane is a really good guy.

Imagine a broadcast TV network giving someone who worked at the Golden Age of Cartoon Network the opportunity to worked on a show, and doing 8 interviews, only to completely ghosted him for weeks for absolutely no reason.

Try to wrap your head around on that one, folks.

Seriously. Explain that to me, Memorable Entertainment Television? :/
Didn't notice that the site was back...

I'll start off by saying X-Men 97 has been a blast to watch. As someone who grew up exposed to the films and cameos on other shows, it was definitely a different treat seeing how both iterations of the franchise handle the characters and their world.
Professor X's speech in today's episode was powerful ... nuff said.
