Another four star review for me. Great to see that each episode so far has the original opening. Nice to see Harley and Ivy get their own story (Possibly my favorite Ivy episode).

No complaints, but I do have one question: Can anyone translate what Montoya says when her car crashes??

“Fine! I'll show you! You'll be sorry! I'll pull a big heist and I'll be laughing at you, ha ha! Ya hear? Laughing!” -Harley Quinn, Harley and Ivy

A pretty fun team-up episode that sets the tone for other Harley and Ivy episodes. There are a lot of fun moments in this episode. And it was rather poetic that only Officer Montoya could stop the ladies’ crime spree.
The “Rose Bud” license plate on Ivy’s car is a clever nod to classic movie “Citizen Kane.”

Since Batman Volume 2 on D V D is coming out, I would like to take the opportunity to say I am happy there will be a commentary for this episode. This is one of my favorite episodes of Batman season 1. And my wife's and my sister's favorite episode ever. This episode pushed Harley to another level. She became one of Batman's villains and graduated from being a henchgirl to Joker. There were great performances from all the voice actors on this one.

I love this episode, it's one of my favorites off the DVD. I liked how Harley proved she could be without the Joker and still pose a threat, Harley and Ivy were a great team with lots of humor, and Harley's obsession with the Joker was funny as she saw his face in a plate of salad!

This is one of Harley's better episodes and the commentary on it on the DVD is great. 4stars:D

The comentary on this episode is pretty cool. I like how they say that the Joker's original line to the girls was "busy beavers" but at the very last second they changed it to "busy bees." Fun with censors! What will they nitpick you on? What will you get away with?

What was great was that apparently either the censors didn't get it or didn't think the kids would get it, since that was apparently a voluntary change. Personally I think it would've been great to keep-- I doubt any parent anal enough to complain would've gotten the joke anyway. Children certainly wouldn't get it, and it would've given many an older viewer a nice chuckle. Oh, well.

Maybe I'm just thick, but I didn't get that joke. I asked some other people about it too, and no one can tell me what it means. Would someone please explain it to me?

EDIT: Nevermind. My brother told me. :p

This is a really good episode. The only thing that bothers me is how the Joker's drawn.

This is definately a great episode, that goes without saying. But some of the smaller touches I enjoyed were Ivy's darker skin tone and facial structure. She looked more...ethnic, more tan, more tropical in this episode, and less like a run-of-the-mill white red-head. Somehow she's always managed to stand out design-wise from the other DCAU ladies, which is nice. And I loved her hair toss! Nicely animated!

Montoya gets some limelight, which is always a pleasure. She was certainly a great supporting member of the cast.

And that first meeting was classic! "Poison Oakey?" LOL :D When I finally saw this episode, it was years after having known about their friendship thanks to the Adventures books. Seeing how it all began wasn't a disappointment, thankfully.

Not a big fan of the character animation when the explosions start though.

This is another one of those great episodes where Batman may have lost if the villians ego or stupidity didnt get in the way.

This is my favourite episode. I've watched it countless times, and cherish the dialogue. I especially love The Joker's "get 'em!" after being kicked through the table by Poison Ivy. It was great to hear the crew laughing out loud at it on the DVD commentary too.

Can't forget the whole Joker-in-his-undies-and-his-priceless-reaction-to-the-newspaper bit.

Just an incredible episode! Definately one of the best of the series. I'm so happy that it got a commentary. What they've done with the Harley and Ivy duo since this story has just been great. Easily a top 5 episode!
