Does anyone know of any furry animes out there? I'm not talking about all that Cat Girl stuff (Which I find disgraceful to the furry fandom). I'm talking about the Sly Cooper/Secret Squirrel/Road Rovers kind of furries. The ones that are bipedal talking animals,NOT humans wearing cat ears and tails. So does anyone know of an existing furry anime out there?

I don't know what you're talking about, but it sounds pretty twisted.
Same goes for you, too. Now i'm a little stressed that I just made this topic. All I was hoping for was positive feedback and all I get is teased. It sure is hell being a semi-autistic furry fan. But that is what I am and nobody is the boss of me except for myself.

Hyper Police was pretty rife with furry elements. Was a pretty cute show to boot.

And, uh, how are catgirls "disrespectful" to furries, exactly? Did they crack wise on your mamas?
Okay. I'm done with this. Let's close this topic. It has gone to hell and I wish it to be locked. Please,i'm sick of all this funny business and I feel like a foolish person for posting it. Lock it up and throw away the key!

Dude, no reason to feel guilty. I mean, it's the other posters who decided to derail the topic. While I've never dabbled into it myself, thanks to some exposure from the days of my youth when I was in a Sonic RP, I know a lot of the furry fandom is quite different from the "sexual deviant" stereotype people like to stick to on the internet. I'd just ignore them - you'd think especially in an anime forum people would be more openminded.

I haven't seen Cat Returns yet either, but from what I hear it's quite a good film that takes place mostly in a kingdom of bipedal cats - although they still stick to the feline body type rather than something more humanoid. There's also Bagi, The Monster of Mighty Nature - a TV special by Osamu Tezuka, the god of manga, that features a very furry-esque feline girl. It's pretty rare though, although if you know where to look online you can find it. Also, Samurai Pizza Cats is highly reccomended for anyone.

Really, most anime will just have half-species or the occasional "transformational" deal (i.e. Wolf's Rain). Really, as obscure as furry is here in the states, it's still much rarer in Japan - although thanks to the internet it is starting to spread a bit. Still, they seem content to stick with their catgirls.

Just because some people went crazy on the catgirl thing doesn't mean it's gone to hell. You've got some good leads.

All I see for furry things are cat/dog girls/boys. That's it.

The disgraceful thing about catgirls...does it have to do with fanservice?
