On @James Harvey's recommendation and running out of shows to watch, I dove into Absolute Wonder Woman. Thompson and Sherman are killing it. I couldn't stop and had to read all 12 issues in one sitting. Who knew changing Diana's origin just a little to her being taken away from the Amazons and raised by Circe in Hell made her even cooler of a character? The ongoing storyline is compelling - what game these gods and goddesses are at, the search for the Amazons, Area 41 - all of it. I think this could be easily adapted into a WW animated series.

Noticing a pattern, Diana enlists Etta to help her crack the mystery of why these events are happening in these places and how to stop them. The answer? Too personal to imagine.

10/22: #13: The twist reminded of the nephele but lightning instead of a cloud like in Greek myth but the final reveal made it seem more like an eidolon. Basically a doppelganger to maintain magical equilibrium?

11/27: #14: That old chest nut of using wordplay to get a god to save you without angering them and getting vaporized. But hmm, an imbalance towards evil in this universe. Also, love all these stunning designs the gods get in this comic.

Zatanna made a move already and now Diana is now bound to her. Or just her voice? The latter, then that would definitely be used against her in future battles so it'll take something really clever to defeat her.
