Things aren't exactly looking good for 4Kids, to say the least. For several consecutive years now, 4Kids has reported losing millions and millions in their quarterly reports, and ratings for their Saturday morning block have been way less than satisfactory. And with the license to both Pokémon and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles gone, and with Chaotic essentially dead, it doesn't seem like there's a lot of options for the company. But 4Kids still may have an ace in the hole: Toonzai. This fall, 4Kids will re-brand The CW4Kids into a block that will attempt to bring edgier anime to the United States in a Toonami-esque manner. And what better way to do that than to air Dragon Ball Z Kai? And who knows what other acquisitions and surprises 4Kids will have to offer? Will it be enough to save the company? In any case, this will likely be their last chance, their one last shot.
