Thought you guys might want to talk about these. Despite Covid, a VERY strong year for animation:
BEST FEATURE
BEST TV/MEDIA — GENERAL AUDIENCE
BEST VOICE ACTING — FEATURE
So for me, first off, Best Feature, I should say I have not seen Encanto or Sing 2. Of the remaining three, Luca was hands down the best. The Mitchells is funny but unnecessarily long. Raya was good too but I hate movies where the villain switches allegiances during the course of the story (an annoying trend in Hollywood recently eg Toy Story 4).
Best TV/Media (General Audience) I'm going to skip, because of the ones mentioned I have only seen Star Wars: Visions (which was lame btw, except for one episode, The Ninth Jedi). I've heard great things about Arcane, I'd be interested in seeing that one.
Best Voice Acting for a Feature, I'll go with Abbi Jacobson (Katie Mitchell) who brought a lot genuinely funny moments to "The Mitchells vs The Machines".
