I like the current logo myself :) but in this case I was referring to the logo change prior to this one, around 2012-ish. Some people on this very forum were declaring that the new logo somehow meant that the old shows were coming back. That's how badly these folks wanted that to happen.
Oh yeah, I can see what you mean.

I doubt that Supernoobs would ever be on Checkered Past, it's too recent (yeah, it came out when I was like, 10, but I don't think they had younger viewers like me in mind for the block. It only has 90s and 2000s cartoons,,, right now at least).

It seems these 4 are the only shows that will be on the block for now. The announcement never made mentioned of any other upcoming shows being added (maybe in the future).

Given the name of the block, if there were to be more programs added, it will be mainly from the checkerboard era only.

what about supernoobs? CP should air it as well! CN aired it back in 2015-2016!
Supernoobs is acquired show that is not owned by Warner Bros Discovery (owner of Cartoon Network), hence, it is 100% unlikely to air on Adult Swim under Checkered Past.

Checkered Past limits to Cartoon Network original series that aired in 1990s and 2000s.

My advice: Don't get hope up to see your shows come on Checkered Past. Many people did with The Splat and it was massive disappointment and ultimately, Nick ended up spam a lot of same shows (Rugrats) everyday.

I suggested Camp Lazlo to be on the block before the forums even came back because I just found it funny. While fully not expecting them to actually do as such.

There’s shows like that which won’t have any “cultural relevance” today but hey... old shows are old. :/

I’ve seen others get antsy about all the requests for Powerpuff Girls too. It’s one thing if you’re parroting ye olde memes like “Totally Spies should be on Toonami” but simply asking for a tad more shouldn’t be a big deal. This is all they’re doing now.

I’m honestly more mildly concerned about lack of variety in the content than I am for these same bumps in rotation.

I mean, this block has only been around for a hot minute. We’re still in the middle of September.

oh thx for the tip! i was anticipating for it (along with some other CN stuff) since CN aired it back in their 2015-2016 era. and also about The Splat/NickRewind...Nick needs to STRAIGHT UP bring back said block (maybe even have it replace Nick @ Nite on the main nick channel)

Nick will not give Nite at Night up because they are still biggest rating machine since Splat and NickRewind had low rating that led to demise.

Paramount is strictly rating based to make a decision since WBD is causal, depends on networks.

Why? So it can fail again?
The Splat was wasted potential. It started off with so much promise, showcasing obscure shows from Nick's past like the classic Pete & Pete shorts (before it became a full series), You Can't Do That On Television, Welcome Freshmen, Roundhouse... Basically, the real deep cuts from their history. It wasn't long before it devolved into another generic Nicktoons block.

If you replace Nick@Nite with NickRewind, there won't be any variety left. It might as well just be Nick 24/7, and if Nick wants to compete with Adult Swim, they need that night block.

no i mean if Nick wanted to reboot NickRewind, they could at least show the live action stuff a little more often like Taina, Romeo, Cousin Skeeter, Just Jordan, and such and maybe a little bit of the obscure nicktoons like Catscratch, Kappa Mikey, Three Delivery, Wayside, Yakkity Yak, & so on.

They can rerun on TeenNick or The N if Nickelodeon actually cared and it has to be owned by Paramount, not acquired from non-Paramount studios because acquisition licensing has been expired after no longer run on Nickelodeon.

Taina and Just Jordan don't have many episodes, so they can be aired on weekend, otherwise, it burn the shows out quickly.

Catscratch, Kappa Mikey, Three Delivery, Wayside, Yakkity Yak, & so on.
Catscratch and Yakkity Yak can be aired on Nicktoons if Nickelodeon does care and due to low numbers of episodes, they are suited for weekend airing.

Kappa Mikey, Three Delivery and Wayside aren't Paramount properties and acquisition licensing expired long time ago, but you may have a luck to find those on free Tubi that is home for ended acquired shows.

Blame on Nielsen for killed NickRewind. If Nielsen didn't exist, Nickelodeon wouldn't know about whichever shows are popular, so their schedule would be equally.

The ratings must be hilariously and perpetually nonexistent if not one show has been close to reaching the visible Top 200 in repeats since this started.

I know I said these slots were terrible, but I would’ve thought at least the first week would have decent numbers. Given this was a literal block launch.

It’s a bit discouraging to just not know the performance level of Checkered Past because even cartoon nerds in Illinois can’t chip in during the afternoon.

If it wasn’t for the bumps being popular on the internet, I wouldn’t be so sure WHAT the general reach would even be.

Today I enjoyed trying some nostalgic online CN games through the Wayback Machine. Some games didn't work, such as select KND games (DCR files instead of SWF ones) or the Puffy Ami-Yumi games (Dish It Out had Flash Player compatibility issue while World Tour just couldn't start after the controls tutorial).
Happy 60th birthday to Greg Weisman. Gargoyles, The Spectacular Spider-Man and Young Justice are all shows that I have enjoyed watching, overall.
so...remember when toonami got controversies for showing something on the fanart segment
I just saw a Frozen 10-Year Anniversary ad on YouTube.

I can't help but find it surreal knowing that this year is Google's 25th Year Anniversary.
