A few years ago, I was on this forum writing my first fan fiction. It was a continuation of Teen Titans. Based on how horribly that went, I can give you a little advice about what I've learned. Unfortunately, I don't know much about Jake Long, but I'll try to give some general advice.
First...
So, apparently the octopus/ice unicycle transformation was a thing before this: Wonder Twins Powers Activate! - YouTube
A lot of fun stuff is coming out of this show. I don't mind that nobody ever learns a lesson because it's not supposed to develop serious characters like the original show...
I would like to announce my candidacy for leader of New York. My running mate is Harold Redding, a man who has gone counter to my policies enough times to keep them in check. I know I'm not the most approved-of leader in the city, but I will try to do what I can to help New York stand proud...
"Stuff" here meaning the remaining half a peninsula? ...Fine with me, if I can keep the land I bought. If for some reason the raids have not stopped, I'll call in my troops and navy to put down the resistance.
I'll be expanding my navy by two sizes this month.
1. I'd still have the land. Besides, even if they were bought off, that would mean the economic drain on the area in question would probably hurt them more than help them.
2. Since when does hiring an army make you evil/enemies with everybody?
3. Yeah, Mr. Adams' plan is a mite...
For their service, I'll give the Mercenary Arms Corporation my previously offered ten RES (to hire them as hitmen, perhaps?) I also offer them a representative position in my board of directors, as well as the potential to be officers in the army. In addition, if I am embroiled in another war...
I'll be spending 7 RES to help build a bridge with Respite Island - Claude Fox can elaborate.
Our other 10 RES will be offered to buy out the remaining Mercenary Arms Corporation. Instead of being hired out as raiders of... something unknown, why not get built up under Harmony Hall, a known...
To the throngs of the Mercenary Arms Corporation: Why join with the Adams Committee when you could thrive in the arms of another ruthless scoundrel: Ross Tweed? We have outposts close to you, I attempted to contact your leader well before now, and I have more of a citywide influence than the...
I'm for the reunion. We are starving, and if the United States will take us back in, we need that. But we should be afforded some measure of independence - just to show that we have survived on our own. Perhaps as our own city-state?
Also, I have negotiated a peace treaty with Emperor Boris...
I'm going to deal with these business types after the war - I have to determine whether there will even be enough civilians left in the Empire once Scarnia's through with them to even bother giving the land back.
I will be spending five RES for the weapon plant bonus (my army has apparently been outmatched, so they need help). I will spend five more RES on an efficient power distribution system. My people can now have power, so I should let them have it.
OK, now I'm mad. Boris has gotten lucky enough. Ten RES to the construction of a weapons manufacturing plant, three RES toward the war effort in general. If our better men and larger area can't win us a war, we'll get better guns.
I am taxing ten RES. Four will go to the war effort in the Empire of New York. Six will go to expanding our navy to size 10. And once we've plowed through the Empire of New York, we're not stopping. Once Boris has been taken down, we're moving right on through into Scarnia.
Meanwhile...
...Shouldn't I have a Laissez-Faire economy going right about now? I paid for it...
Oh, and if anyone runs into a certain Emperor Raven while looting the Empire of New York, bring him directly to me.
I will be aiding the Kingdom of New York in invading Emperor Boris' territory.
I will use the ten RES I have received to start a Laissez-Faire economy. I need to get a constant stream of RES going.
I would also like to offer Mr. Fox a formal alliance again. We have been discussing it, and I...
Emperor Boris, you do not realize how foolish you are. I am NOT your servant, I am NOT your viceroy, I am no longer your partner, and you have made me your enemy.
OK, really, why are they scared of me? It's not like I've been oppressing my citizens or anything... is my imperialist policy really THAT bad that it's not preferable to the leader that hanged an innocent women in public?
I must say, Mr. Holding, I'm impressed. You have managed to effectively...
You say all men are inherently evil? Well, I choose to stop the greatest of all the evils I can stop. I choose to stop you.
No, this is not a declaration of war. I merely intend to give your citizens a choice, to show that rule by fear never works. I give them the choice to either flee to...
I don't know about anyone else - after all, I never played Rule the World VII - but I'm really having fun with this game. It does feel slow, though, just because I have very few resources to jumpstart my economy and you have oodles of cash to throw around. A boost would be very useful.
I'm...
You're good - they're starving. By the way, mind if I send my architect boys over to look at what used to be LaGuardia Airport? I'm spending 1 RES for them to poke around for any planes, parts, or blueprints that could get something up in the sky.
Oh, now you're just baiting me. ;)
Whoever DARES to stand up for America's actions toward us has clearly never lived in our city. We will find you, or else you will come to see what we mean. Two RES will be spent to investigate the deaths. Two more taxed RES will be spent to increase the navy...
I don't know about music enough to post in this thread. But I am greatly saddened by the fact that Shipoopi is accredited to Family Guy. Come on, people, The Music Man can't be THAT obscure.
Of course. We may despise your rule by fear, but we won't deny you a buildup of survival programs.
Got a few questions:
First, was the graffiti on Boris' abode in gray or purple?
Second, what protections are on the border wall, and how tall is it?
Third, is it possible to safely send any...
*shrug* Depends on when I would need to start. Rule the New World sounds like something I'd like to do, a colonization game on a new continent (Huntsman, could I use your map since I have no idea how to draw my own?) set in the Age of Exploration. Different resources can be pulled from...
Ladies and gentlemen, we have added a major chunk of land to Harmony Hall. With it came a good source of money. We shall use all 7 now. I am expanding my navy to size 7, and sailing for Whitestone. I shall make as much of the journey as possible through the Kingdom of New York so I can stay...
Does that "half-price policy for reaching 100 STA" thing still apply? I'll expand into Guttenberg if it still does (gonna have to pick that up sometime). If not, my precious resources have better uses.
To quote the 11th Doctor: "Blimey. What do you do to the ones who mess up?"
So, Mr. Holding (or would you prefer Mr. Voorhees?), consider yourself lucky that my navy isn't back up yet.
Next month, ignore the two-RES bonus from gambling, give it to some lucky patron. (I'm not quite sure how...
Well, clearly I have overestimated New Yorkers. :p So I have a couple more questions about the new investments.
To have Fishermen, would you have to have a navy first, or are we assuming that some people have private boats? Might I suggest that fishermen cost less to hire if you already have...
"And so, my people, we will rebuild. We must rebuild. I promise you that by the time the ice thaws in April, we will have rebuilt the famous Harmony Hall navy to patrol the Hudson once again."
Ross Tweed gave his speech and turned back into the government building. He was surprised to see a...
OK, I give up. Is this a code, a puzzle, or spam? Or am I right in saying:
