The fact that Max basically knew they had new episodes of Jellystone and Tiny Toons Looniversity premiering, but did virtually nothing to promote them kinda makes me concerned for how animation will be handled at Max going forward.
I understand. I'm like that too. I'm autistic, and I worry a lot about messing things up. I worry that I'll end up saying or doing something that might make someone hate me.
Yeah, I kinda felt the same way too. I mean, as cool as it was to hear George Lowe as Space Ghost again, you can tell that the years have caught up to him. Paul F. Tompkins (who voices Magilla Gorilla on this show) DID voice Space Ghost in a Season 2 cameo, so maybe they could’ve used him. But...
As we all know, the NickRewind block was cancelled in 2022. But I personally believe it could (potentially) come back.
My idea would be to bring it back as part of Nick at Nite as opposed to TeenNick. Kinda like how Checkered Past airs on [adult swim]. Have it run from maybe 9-11pm weekdays...
You know, I have to wonder something. What exactly is the future of MLP G5? How much longer is it gonna last? I mean, G4 lasted an impressive 9 years! That’s the longest run a Hasbro show has ever had! But the real reason why I’m thinking about this is because I’ve seen G5 toys popping up at...
I find it funny that Checkered Past has been successful while NickRewind was destroyed and outright cancelled by Nickelodeon. It’s like a complete reversal from how things were in the 2010’s
Tbh, Aaron Carter and Bob Saget hit me the hardest because I grew up watching reruns of Full House on Nick@Nite, and Aaron bc of his songs like “I Want Candy” as well as his brother Nick being in the Backstreet Boys.
Ok. Let’s break this down together, shall we?
1. “Cable is dying, streaming is the future” has nothing to do with ANYTHING you’ve been trying to say!
2. You basically saying “why do you as adults care about a channel for kids“ is pretty much reinforcing the stereotype that cartoons are for...
Again: DON’T MAKE CLAIMS YOU CAN’T BACK UP!
Because we’ve been down this road before.
It’s like the old saying goes: what goes up must eventually come down.
Maybe, instead of looking at the glass half empty, you should look at it half full!
This topic came to me after seeing videos online from two different guys where they both said that newer cartoons are better than old ones. Is this true? Are more recent cartoons like Gravity Falls and Steven Universe better than old ones like He-Man or My Little Pony G1?
Ok, so I checked Zap2It, and it seems Regular Show was replaced with Codename: Kids Next Door. Adventure Time’s weekend will now go to Foster’s, and I don’t know what the third week will become (it’s supposedly going to be Steven Universe).
Seems like Steven Universe will be airing on August 20th in the 2-6pm time slot. I really hope it’s not just early 2010’s cartoons, because I’d like to see different shows from all eras of CN in that time slot. Heck, maybe some Hanna-Barbera shows as well if we’re lucky!
