They are on separate channel numbers. CBBC is on one number and BBC Three on another. When CBBC finishes on one channel then BBC Three starts on another completely different channel. They don’t share a channel number like CN and Adult Swim
Doesn’t AMC also own the streaming service Acorn TV which shows a lot of original British set series. Could they air some of these series also on BBC America?
What will happen to the Graham Norton Show and Planet Earth, will they still air on BBC America or what will happen? I presume the have...
Free TV Networks are going to launch another diginet called Dare in July. This is basically a carbon copy of Defy TV. It is going to have the same shows. Also it’s tagline is ‘Dare to Defy’ Free TV Networks To Launch New Over-The-Air Channel In Partnership With A+E
What is NBC LX Home meant to be? They were showing two cheap NBC home syndicated series Open House and George to the Rescue on loop. Now it seems to have added true crime series like American Greed and Dateline.
Is NBC LX Home meant to be some kind of placeholder channel until NBC launch something else. It just has 3 cheap filler lifestyle shows on a loop? I thought subchannels were becoming more lucrative and profitable now. It seems NBC don't really know what to do with the channel space and any old...
Does Nickelodeon have any part in the production of Paw Patrol or is it strictly an acquisition from Canada? By the way it's shown with the Nickelodeon logo attached you'd think it was an American Nickelodeon original series. Will the planned spinoff be a Nickelodeon original or just an...
Its a wonder ABC/NBC don't rebrand Localish and LX to something better with OTA gaining traction? Even airing reruns of older series would do better than these channels.
NBCUniversal seem to be airing Peacock originals on their cable channels now. Dr Death and Joe vs Carole are now also airing on USA Network. One of Us is Lying is scheduled to air on E in a few days. The Below Deck original for Peacock has also appeared on Bravo. HBO Max original Titans has also...
Would The CW not be better focusing on more family orientated programming like Chesapeake Shores, Heartland, When Calls the Heart and Murdoch Mysteries? Some of these shows get surprisingly good ratings on Hallmark Channel. Heartland is also one of the top shows on Netflix.
Does NBCUniversal have some kind of clause built into it's contract with Netflix that the kids series it produces for them can then be shown on their own linear Dreamworks channel/sold to other channels or how does it work?
NBC are launching Oxygen which is a pay pay TV channel in various markets like Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Houston as an OTA subchannel. Is this the first proper pay TV channel that is also going OTA? Wonder is this a sign that NBC may drop it as a pay TV channel altogether?
I don't get this so DirecTV is picking up Fox Nation as a streaming app or as a linear channel? If linear will it be a streaming linear channel or a regular linear satellite channel?
Fave TV is now airing The Office. It has started airing other series like Roc and The Parent Hood recently also. It weird how there hasn't even been an article or anything about Fave TV online compared to Dabl which had lots. There is no website/social media or anything. There seems to be no...
What do you think will happen with each Discovery/Warner Media channels? What channels will rebrand close? Could they sell off channels like they did with GAC?
TNT, TBS, TCM, CNN, CN and TruTV should stay as they are?
HLN- not sure as they already have true crime covered with ID
Cinemax...

This is how the pay TV kids channels performed ratings wise in the US in 2021 and the results are shocking (these drops were basically the same last year):
Nickelodeon 335k (-32%)
Disney Jr 258k (-17%)
Disney Channel 233k (-35%)
Nick Jr 232k (-31%)
Cartoon Network 201k (-26%)
Disney XD 83k...
But surely if a company bought it and converted it into something else (like GAC) they would make lots of money even just off carriage fees. It is still available in 10s of millions of homes? There is lots of $ to be made. Discovery made $90 million selling GAC (they could have just shut it...
Why don't they sell NBCSN like Discovery did with GAC or why would they not sell it? You can't really say no one would want it as it is still in millions of homes. Why was GAC sold yet NBCSN is closing entirely?
Why didn't they just relaunch the channels on the 15th with new programming then? Wonder will GAC Living keep some of the Discovery shows or what will both channels air?
Why are US TV ratings so poor? The US has 5 times the population of the UK yet ratings for the main 5 UK/US networks are similar? America's Got Talent/Chicago PD/NCIS are regarded as big popular mainstream shows yet only get ratings like top UK shows. You could say people just record them now...
