It sounds odd that a smash hit that was the 2016 Powerpuff Girls reboot got negative reception, at least from the original 1998 show's fans. How about that?
I found it selsewhere that Joe Ruby and Ken Spears worked on the new shows until the former's death. Actually, their animation studio ceased to exist in either 1995 or 1996. Therefore, it makes sense if they both retired shortly afterwards.
The Powerpuff Girls fandom neglects the 2016 reboot, but Cartoon Network and everybody else around them officially ignore the existence of Powerpuff Girls Z instead. Why is that?!
The Powerpuff Girls fanon: The original 1998 show and PPGZ The official Powerpuff Girls canon: The original 1998 show, the movie, the specials and the 2016 reboot
At this moment, is there any chance for Powerpuff Girls Z rto be redubbed in English? And... Is there any chance for PPGZ to be dubbed in Hungarian, Polish, Russian and many other languages?
My friend Chad Edwards is asking this for a while:
Why PPGZ never aired in North America, Pan-European countries (except French and Italian-speaking territories, Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Greece and Cyprus), the Middle Eastern and African countries (except French and Portuguese-speaking territories)?
According to an Italian Wikipedia article, the airing of Powerpuff Girls Z in Italy was cut short at episode 20. This/that means it's the shortest run of a show in the Powerpuff Girls franchise. How about that and what do you think?
You know you feel old when one of the first non-CN shows you remember was the German series Twipsy. This doesn't strike a chord with Americans, though. I remember being 4 and being enthralled by the computer graphics of the cyberspace setting.
