I swear, people find the most pettiest reasons to hate on modern CN. If anything, the worst thing to happen to them in recent years is that they stopped caring about the live feed. Not reboots, not PSAs, etc.
Taking a week long break from social media felt like I went back to pre-2010 life when I only used the Internet for Youtube, research, and web searching.
I'm tired of people saying "SpongeBob is the only show carrying Nickelodeon" while in reality it's not true. Even as someone who used to admire the show, it has been hurting the network for a long time and the spin-offs prove it. Why won't anyone give new Nicktoons a chance and yet when they get screwed over, they pretend to care about them?
Since it's clear that I won't have a real-life job any time soon, might as well take two virtual jobs. TV Critic and TV Archivist. When you see me on the Internet, I will critique television shows, as well as archiving schedules, ratings, and more. I even run a group dedicated to cable tv: Log into Facebook | Facebook
Why is the Nickstory Wiki thread that I started a part of the Nicktoons April Fools Megathread. I clearly stated that it’s no April Fools joke. It’s just a Wiki dedicated to Nick history Open on its anniversary. No prank or anything Nickstory Wiki
I'm going to start adding sources for my TV schedule spreadsheets. That way, people won't ask me where I get them from. I know this forums have tons of CN schedule archive saved from 2007-2011, so I'll be covering that.
July 2017-January 2020. After 30 long months, the drought for a new Nicktoon that isn’t based existing property is over (I don’t count Pinky Malinky since it didn’t aired on TV)...so what do you people think of It’s Pony?
I find it sad that an one season Nicktoon is actually getting attention online over something controversial.
I’m not forcing you guys to change your views on Nick, But I hate the double standards with obscure Nicktoons like El Tigre and Harvey Beaks. It doesn’t get that much discussion while it’s airing and it only does when it’s something bad.
Since the cartoon community has already posted their first impressions on what to expect on Duncanville (FOX’s upcoming cartoon), can we stop comparing every single adult cartoon to Family Guy (even if most of them are comedy and don’t have the best looking art style)? Not all of them are remotely similar, even with the limited animation.
Can we stop putting words in Stephen Hillenburg’s mouth such as “He didn’t wanted this!” Regarding of certain things towards his show? It’s getting out of hand, especially with Nick’s SpongeBob musical tweet, which now have 4000 replies (majority of them are endless complaining). And I’ve been silent on the spin-offs for a reason.
Low ratings = bad quality is one of the worst excuse you can come up with. Even with cable on the decline, I don’t think the quality of a bad show/episode has nothing to do poor ratings.
You're not allowed to criticize Nickelodeon's current schedule once you take a look at its sister channel, MTV's ridiculous (see what I did there?) excuse of schedule.
Do you think people are overreacting on Nickelodeon too much this year? They always try to find a way to mindlessly hate on Nick for petty reasons, such as relying on reboots and now a birthday post. I wish they focus more on the positives.
And the winner of the competition is Pizza Pilot, which got 3 votes. Harpy Gee got 2 votes, and Missing The Mark got nothing. And that's the end of the competition. Thanks for participating. The article is next week.
Before streaming services like Netflix dominating the family entertainment industry, we had family networks on cable television. Quite honestly, I'm very fascinated by their history and their programming on how much they evolved over the years.
But here's what I'm wondering: why do they failed?
Clearly, People seemed to forget that the late Chrtistine Cavanaugh who originally voiced Chuckie Finster on Rugrats, retired from Voice Acting in like 2001, and Nancy Cartwright took over the role since then.
