    For everyone complaining about the sequels were getting shouldn't forget that Disney made plenty of originals these past few years and not all of them were good. Just because we get a sequel doesn't automatically = trash and just cause we get originals doesn't automatically = great. If anything let's just get a balance between the two and hope for good movies. But Disney's live-action remakes yeah no thanks.

    I call these cash-grab sequels Boardroom Pictures: guaranteed hits to keep the lights on so they'll have the capital to work on other things. Not every sequel is creatively bankrupt and not every original movie is gold. Ideally we should get a proper balance of each. I'm not going to say anything in favor of Disney's live-action remakes, though. Those I just ignore.

    I agree. Sometimes, you gotta vote with your wallet. Your comment about "sequel sucks, we need more original ideas" don't even matter to The Mouse House because they already got your 60 bucks.

    If you don't pay to see bad movies, they won't make any bad movies. It's simple, right?

    @Goldstar! but here's the thing Pixar doesn't really seem like they fully turned there back on originals considering Elio & Hoppers is coming if anything it seems like they are trying to make there be a balance between the two. For Disney Animation tho yeah they just want all the money

    I think it's still going to exist, but some of it's subsidaries (21st Century, Lucasfilm and even Marvel to some extent) could split off from Disney

    It's a hobby that I like and treat it as a medium that everyone can enjoy. As long as animation gives us good stuff, I'd tuned in.

What do you mean a Megas XLR reboot was rejected? There was even one going to happen in the first place?

I find it ironic how in the age of reboots/revivals, there are those getting vetoed, usually for stupid reasons (Jimmy Neutron not being "diverse enough", anyone?)

on the 27th, i will be seeing one of my childhood fave country artists live, Kathy Mattea. she comes here every year just about, but i've never actually gotten to go until now. so this'll be pretty nice for me.
