i unironically want ok boomer to be a title for a cbs sitcom where its about an old man not understanding modern times and talking smack to younger people and the jokes are more stale and the laugh track is more forced.
Man Wii does not hold up well. I appreciate the technical achievements behind it. But because of Nintendo's over protective family-friendly image of that time, graphics that were inferior to PS3 and XBOX 360, and game companies expoliting the console by putting their mediocre to awful kids and shovelware games on there. It was not a good era to remember.
i just realized the reason why Disney TVA had such a resurgence in the 2010's was because some execs who worked at Nick and CN moved over there. And some of them were responisible for greenlighting shows like Spongebob, Avatar, Dexter's Lab, PPG and etc. I guess that's why there were more artist/animator driven shows than in the 2000's where it was mostly writer created cartoons
finally manage to watch both the first couple of episodes of The Owl House and Glitch Techs. Both have a lot of potential and also a good start for this coming decade. Although i still think GT should've had a chance on the main Nick channel. I mean yeah TV is on life support maybe it would've not done well because lack of viewers......
getting the rights to Garfield and being so proud of it is like saying getting the rights to another IP people barely remember or talk about it today like Felix the Cat, The Archies, or Gumby of all things. Like aside from ironic memes i haven't heard anyone talk about Garfield maybe since the Bill Murray movies in the 2000's
You know Nick hasn't had a Nicktoon that was traditionally animated in almost 5 years. Last one was Pig Goat Banana Cricket and since then their shows are either in Toon Boom or Flash. It's probably just the creators choice on what format they want it animated in. But this kind of bugs me
another important exec who worked at FOX (now 20th Century Studios) has left. I really think Disney might be devolving 20CS into garbage remakes and generic big budget fare. If that's the case then mainstream hollywood live action movies are dead to me for a while
Yeah i am not going to support or watch any live action Disney film for about a couple of years maybe around 2022. The fact that the theatrical side is now just creatively bankrupt live action regurgitations and generic cgi special effects shlock and treat anything thats mid budget or original like black sheep i'll stop for now.
It looks like San Diego Comic Con will once again be virtual, with the event being held from July 23-25. They hopefully plan to have large, in person conventions in 2022, but it seems like a smaller venue will be held in November. In addition, Wonder Con will be virtual again, and be held from March 26-27.
About Butch Hartman's debacle s an artist recently, the dude is so much better than this. At least it's not something like being accused of something like Sexual harassment but, yeah disappointing to say the least.
I'll have to wait for the home release of the Tom and Jerry movie to watch it, but from what I've seen I like the Kayla character's relationship with Tom. It was nice to see a character befriend him before Jerry for once.
