  • *siiiiigh* welp another _____ disney remake that clueless millennials will go watch and make it gross a billion dollars worldwide.

too bad i can't put some vulgar word in the blank because this is a family friendly board. But that's how i think about these remakes. Use your imaginations

Ugh, I'm getting sick of these Disney live-action remakes! Please, make it stop!!!
i'm surprised that Disney hasn't sued The Asylum for Homeward stealing and slightly changing Wreck-It-Ralph's character design for the movie
as a joke i like to think The Flying Dutchman from Spongebob is actually Willem Dafoe's character in The Lighthouse as a ghost.
I remember thinking how come Paramount didn't put the Nickelodeon Movies name for Hugo then i relalize "oh maybe they didn't want to associate Nickelodeon with a director like Martin Scorsese whose famous films were R-rated"
Why does CBS still makes generic laugh track-filled sitcoms when other broadcast networks like ABC, NBC and FOX started to phase out those shows since 2005 or 2006? There's been maybe 3 or 4 that were single camera shows since then but why don't CBS make more of those shows? I kind of bugs me.

Young Sheldon doesn't have a one , it's the one Chuck Lorre show that doesn't

I personally don't want laugh track (by which I mean filmed in front of audience) sitcoms to completely die out. I don't know if there are any good ones at the moment, but I wouldn't want to think we'll never get another Cheers or Seinfeld

IDK but Nick and Disney still have multi-camera sitcoms. FOX has went back to making them after cancelling their remaining single camera sitcoms
Uniroically i want to see Disney being so desperate to remake anything animated into live action that they will decide to remake A Goofy Movie.

Like Goofy would be played by Seth Rogen and Max would be played by Zac Efron and they're the only ones done in CG while everybody is live action.
@Ghoster1987 FB&CC still is trash and is only being propped up by memes that are selling you a lie. The lie that is nostalgia, which is a disease.

Glitch Techs should not be compared to this trash, because GT is actually GOOD and deserves a lot more love/respect than it gets, whether from the network or from people who watch animation in general. And that's the truth!

It's just a crappy cartoon. There are legitimate things going on in the world that deserve that level of bile but I don't think a bad Nickelodeon cartoon is one of them. I get super pissed at stuff too but I'm not dialed up to 11 about every single thing, not even every single crappy thing. It makes people take my harshest words more seriously if I carefully choose when to use them.

Take a deep breath, Zanneck. I like you. You are going to be okay.

    Spoken for truth, all around.
Anything I just said: It just felt so good to get that all out if nothing else, honestly. Even though it ain't gonna make the world a better place, otherwise - which takes more than just making great cartoons to watch, for an obvious example, anyway.
it feels so weird seeing Fanboy and Chum Chum a decade later getting a lot of respect and people having nostalgia over it now. I remember it was HATED on.
People thought it was the worst thing to come from Nick. But i'm guessing Glitch Techs had something to do with it because both shows are created by the same person.

@Radiant97 Thank you for pointing out exactly why I hate memes, now. They're just worse off jokes that force you into liking something that is clearly hateworthy and has always been so (like FB&CC, for example.). Don't get me started on all of these SpongeBob memes... They're just as annoying, especially since I can't stand SpongeBob past season 3, honestly.

I don't even hate the memes, I just don't like how some people think their enjoyment of memes about a certain show/movie must translate to enjoyment of the show/movie itself.

back when the Harvey Weinstein allegations happened i remember saying "well i'm not surprised he's known for being a jerk to certain movies particularly in his treatment in animated movies he acquired and is known for re-cutting live action flims behind director's backs."

I'll have to wait for the home release of the Tom and Jerry movie to watch it, but from what I've seen I like the Kayla character's relationship with Tom. It was nice to see a character befriend him before Jerry for once.
Here's a video from both The Watch Tower Database and Kuro The Artist about Dwayne McDuffie.

We are in the Endgame now...

And the winner of the competition is Pizza Pilot, which got 3 votes. Harpy Gee got 2 votes, and Missing The Mark got nothing. And that's the end of the competition. Thanks for participating. The article is next week.
Before streaming services like Netflix dominating the family entertainment industry, we had family networks on cable television. Quite honestly, I'm very fascinated by their history and their programming on how much they evolved over the years.

But here's what I'm wondering: why do they failed?
