  • A note about grades in my reviews.

My grades are similar a school report card not a percentage of what the project got right. Contd...

For example if a movie did 40% of things right it will still get a failing grade and therefore a zero. My recent Deathstroke: Knights And Dragons review garnered some controversy for receiving zero stars from me. But that didn't mean it did zero things right. I found the movie about 35% acceptable. Which still means it gets zero stars.

I also give a LOT of stuff I watch four and five stars quite regularly which says I am actually pretty easy to please. If a show or movie gets zero stars it actually means I am truly unhappy with it. I'm not trolling.

As far as trolling goes another thing to keep in mind about various movies I review, particularly the DC cartoons: I spend money on the Blu-Rays. I do not pirates these movies and I support the DC animation creators with my wallet. I feel if I am unhappy with what I spent my money on, I am perfectly entitled to explain why.
I am extremely angry and enraged with current things going on the news. Which is another reason I've dropped out of discussion on this site. I don't want to take my bad mood out on you guys. I love you guys and I miss engaging with you very much. I hope you all are well.
The producers of the train-wreck that is Riverdale plus the beyond cynical and jaded concept of The Powerpuff Girls. What could go wrong? How about every thing that could possibly exist between those two horrible things merging?

If you have issues with The CW such as Berlanti's shows and so on, then why watch the network in the first place? Not every show from them is bad. Just saying.

Also, I'd be more horrified if this was actually a live-action version of Johnny Test, given that I actually like PPG.

Johnny Test being rebooted on The CW would actually be funny in an ironic way, considering it aired, and even premiered new episodes on that network for a while.
Taking a mini break from Anime Superhero. Possibly for months. I will still post my reviews and in my Un-Iverse thread but I will not be engaging in discussions with people on other topics. If you need to reach me PM me.

I apparently have been offending people on the site and I need to take some time and space so I don't do it anymore. There's nothing else I can think of to do.

On here in spurts but anytime I see a post from you on pretty much anything I know it's going to be insightful and well thought out whether I agree with your stance (On said animated show/film/comic, etc.) or not. Current event and other stances we are very much on the same page and I feel your exhaustion/concern and will hope you are back sooner rather than later.

It's gonna be awhile. I'm not happy about it but there really is no other option. But you guys can still reach me via PM. I promise I'll respond.

Sorry to hear that, hope there's a return in the future
Sorry to be a page lurker but I've seen how you were on edge about current news events. Some tips you should do is pay less attention to news, so you can take your mind off the news and relax. The news often focuses on the bad portions of what's going on which can make one infuriated and stressed. A break from the news is recommend and I hope you have a nice day, sir.

I'm less on edge about the news and more on how people are responding to it. If people would take what's happening seriously we'd all be better off.

I'm actually quite optimistic about November and next year.

That's great to hear and the year will get better as cases will most likely decrease. People are starting to grasp the full consequences of not taking the virus seriously to its full extent.

We will likely get flu season later this year but I'm sure our old normal will return stronger than ever next year or two.
One of my beloved mentors growing up was named Karen. I mention her in the dedication to the first issue of Gilda And Meek. Suffice it to say, I hate 2020.
That recent NYT story has me spitting nails. There is no bottom.
Actually, there are plenty of Dutch male adult voice-actors doing the voices of boys.

And I'm betting they don't sound all too convincing.
Fone Bone grips stuffed Elmo tightly and rocks back and forth. Just hold out until November. Things will get better. They'll have to.
Current events are freaking terrifying me.
Little bit of a shock. My father HATES to read. I sent him the link to my blog halfheartedly after my art was exhibited in a Daily Kos virtual art show.

And now he's hooked. He loves it. He is the absolute last person I expected to become a Gilda and Meek fanboy.

I'm shocked. His favorite character is the Piranha. (which doesn't actually shock me). He's the character most like me after all.
