Saturday morning blocks may be gone and unlikelier than unlikely to come back, but look back on the last SMC schedules from each network:
Cookie Jar TV on CBS, Fall 2012:
7:00AM: The Doodlebops (x2)
8:00AM: Busytown Mysteries (x2)
11:00AM: Liberty's Kids (x2)
How dull.
Vortexx on The CW, Spring 2014:
7:00AM: Rescue Heroes (x2) (replaced with 2x Cubix on August 30, 2014)
8:00AM: Sonic X
8:30AM: Bolts & Blip
9:00AM: The Spectacular Spider-Man
9:30AM: Justice League Unlimited (replaced with The Spectacular Spider-Man doubling up on August 30, 2014)
10:00AM: Dragon Ball Z Kai
10:30AM: Digimon Fusion
11:00AM: Yu-Gi-Oh!
11:30AM: Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL
IMHO this was the best lineup out of them all. Beats even 4KidsTV on FOX's lineup.
4KidsTV on Fox, Fall 2008:
8:00AM: Di-Gata Defenders
8:30AM: Biker Mice from Mars
9:00AM: Sonic X (x2)
10:00AM: Chaotic
10:30AM: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003)
11:00AM: Kirby: Right Back at Ya!
11:30AM: Winx Club
The second best after Vortexx. Both were much, much better than what the Big Three had to offer, but then again the Big Three only did SMC for E/I purposes.
ABC Kids on ABC, Spring 2011:
10:00AM: The Emperor's New School
10:30AM: The Replacements
11:00AM: That's So Raven (x2)
12:00PM: Hannah Montana
12:30PM: The Suite Life of Zack & Cody
Yup, this was outdated for 2011. ABC Kids was on autopilot for half a decade (aside from the PR hour, which had to disappear when Saban got the franchise back), without bringing in the newer shows like Cory, Phineas, and Suite Life ON DECK.
NBC Kids on NBC, Summer 2016:
10:00AM: Floogals
10:30AM: Nina's World
11:00AM: Ruff-Ruff, Tweet and Dave
11:30AM: Terrific Trucks!
12:00PM: The Chica Show
12:30PM: Noodle and Doodle
Nothing to say here folks.
