Wonder Woman 1984 is one of the most important films coming in 2020, not just in terms of superhero films, but as a whole. The sequel has been highly-desired ever since the first movie blew everyone’s minds back in 2017. Now, after a long time waiting, the first trailer for the film has come via CCXP, and it does not disappoint.
Turns out that by the time Diana arrives in 1984, things are going somewhat well. She’s still Wonder Woman, but she’s also still mourning the loss of Steve Trevor. But, she does have friends, including apparently Barbara Minerva, aka Cheetah. But things take a turn in the trailer when Steve Trevor arrives suddenly, and he’s not alone.
We also get a glimpse at Maxwell Lord, as well as some big action and set pieces in the film. You can watch the trailer below, Wonder Woman 1984 hits theaters on June 5th.
