The Walt Disney Company on Thursday announced that Robert Iger and Michael Eisner will share chief executive duties of the entertainment giant until Eisner retires at the end of September.
The company also confirmed that Chairman George Mitchell will not stand for reelection to the board at the 2006 annual meeting.
