Star vs. the Forces of Evil

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Disney XD has renewed Milo Murphy’s Law for a second season and Star vs. the Forces of Evil for a fourth. The former series was created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh; the title character is a personification of Murphy’s Law voiced by “Weird Al” Yankovic. The latter series was created by Daron Nefcy and centers on Star Butterfly, a magical princess from another dimension and the adventures she has with her friend Marco Diaz. The report further states that the third season of Star vs. the Forces of Evil will premiere this summer, and that the book Star vs. The Forces of Evil: Star and Marco’s Guide to Mastering Every Dimension (written by series supervising producer Dominic Bisignano and Amber Benson) will be hitting bookshelves on March 7, 2017.
