The Hollywood Reporter reported that Oscar-nominated actress Debbie Reynolds died Wednesday at Cedar-Sinai Hospital from a stroke at the age of 84. Her passing comes one day after the death of her daughter, actress Carrie Fisher.

Reynolds was best known for starring in films like Singin’ in the Rain, Tammy and the Bachelor (which earned her a number 1 hit song for the song “Tammy”), How the West Was Won, and her Oscar-nominated role in The Unsinkable Molly Brown.

Her TV appearances include The Love Boat, The Golden Girls, Roseanne, and her Emmy-nominated role as Bobbi Adler on Will & Grace. She also starred in the TV movie These Old Broads, a film written by Carrie Fisher which also starred her long time rival Elizabeth Taylor. She also played the mother of Liberace in the 2013 film Behind the Candelabra.

Ms. Reynolds’ voice credits include the voice of Charlotte the spider in the 1973 animated filmĀ Charlotte’s Web (based on the E.B. White children’s book), Lulu Pickles on Rugrats, and Nana Possible in Kim Possible, as well as guest starring appearances in Family Guy, The Penguins of Madagascar, and The 7D.

Ms. Reynolds is survived by her son Todd Fisher, and her granddaughter, Scream Queens actress Billie Lourd.
