Universal has purchased the film rights to the popular children’s book, “The Day The Crayons Quit” by Drew Daywalt, about a box of crayons who decide they need to quit because they are either not being used or not being used properly [white can’t draw on white paper, black can’t color a rainbow, etc..].
The book has been on the New York Times bestseller list for the past 55 weeks.
