This week’s episode provided an exciting battle and character development for the mysterious pink haired girl. Without further ado, let’s recap this week’s episode. Again, a warning that this series contains sexual humor and viewer and reader discretion is advised.

The episode begins with the quest to find a magical golden ball that symbolizes what it contains (you all can figure it out easy considering the style of humor we’ve been getting these past few episodes). Momo and Okarun search a park for it to no avail and kick Turbo Granny for losing such a possession. The duo give up and they go to Momo’s house to recuperate. Seiko gives a stern warning to Okarun that his new powers that he received last episode come from a spirit with dubious morals and that its powers are not to be trusted.

This scene was a foreshadowing of the next scene wherein Okarun hears a boy spreading rumors of Momo having a very sexually active lifestyle and asks if Momo and Okarun engaged in such behavior. This rumor infuriates Okarun and he transforms into his ghost form to choke the boy. Okarun eventually calms down and turns to normal, but it is apparent that Seiko’s warning is something to take seriously after what he almost did. This scene also has Okarun reveal the implications of what we’ve theorized these last few episodes, that he does feel some romantic attraction to her and has an internal monologue where he not so sincerely claims he thinks of her as just a friend and denies romantic attraction.

We cut back to the pink haired girl who is revealed to be the rumor starter. In a internal monologue scene we learn that she has seen Momo’s powers in action and the pink haired girl believes said powers to be evil in nature. The pink haired girl believes herself to be this show’s equivalent to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and carries a crucifix which she intends to use to kill the “demon” Momo. As usual, she waves to the boys to act nice, even when last last episode revealed that her kindness is just an act to mess with people’s heads. We do get a fleeting line with a boy she flirted with calling her Shiratori, so at least her surname gets a reveal. One of Shiratori’s friends claims her crucifix is stinky, which is weird as crosses usually don’t have odors. Her other relic she will use to vanquish the “demon” turns out to be the magical golden ball that our heroes are looking for. Is Shiratori the titular dangerous woman?

Shiratori confronts Momo and asks her to come to a creepy run down building. Momo for some reason thinks this is a good idea and Shiratori and her friends pin Momo to the ground and use the crucifix and golden ball to try to exorcise her. Momo uses her powers to get her assailants off of her.

A really creepy ghost shows up for the big action sequence and we learn that this ghost has ties with Shiratori. It seems that this ghost might be the other candidate for the titurar “dangerous woman.” Shiratori had a childhood attachment to this ghost, but currently Shiratori finds the ghost creepy. Okarun shows up too late to warn Momo but gets into action. The ghost reveals that she has super long hair and uses it to grab and eat Okarun. The ghost asks Shiratori to call her mommy, but Shiratori refuses. The ghost eats Shiratori and then grabs Momo and asks her to call her mommy as well. Momo tells her off and then she gets eaten as well.

Turbo Granny then talks to the ghost and reveals to the ghost something unexpected. There was a reason Shiratori’s cross had an odor, and that was because it was a cross shaped lighter. It turns out that the lighter began to get set off in the ghosts stomach and she has to vomit out her victims. This leaves us with a big cliffhanger where our heroes have to somehow defeat this ghost.

Here’s hoping this battle lives up to the hype and can match the high standard set by episode 4’s big set piece.
