Crunchyroll Enters Partnership With Utomik

You’ve heard of Crunchyroll, but do you know of Utomik? it aims to do for video games what Crunchyroll does for anime — a steady stream of unlimited content for a flat fee. What’s about to happen now that Crunchyroll and Utomik are partnering up?

The Crunchyroll Super Fun Pack was announced yesterday at the Crunchyroll Expo. It is a new subscription tier that includes access to Utomik’s full library of PC titles — among them games from Sega, Warner Bros, Aksys Games, Curve Digital and more.

“We love bringing great content to our community, so for us it’s perfect to find a partner who prides themselves on doing the same and can bring our games to even more people. It’s great that we’ve got that in common with Crunchyroll,” says Doki Tops, CEO of Utomik. The Super Fun Pack will also include bundled subscriptions to J-Novel Club and ANiUTa.

What we don’t know is how much the Crunchyroll Super Fun Pack will cost — obviously higher than a traditional Crunchyroll subscription, but how much higher? We’ll find out as we inch closer to the fourth quarter of 2018, when the Crunchyroll/Utomik partnership is scheduled to kick off.
