Comic Book Resources has confirmed that Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy will star in the new DC Comics animated movie Batman: The Killing Joke. Hamill also confirmed it through his Twitter page.
Based on the graphic novel by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland, the story involves the origin of one of Batman’s best known and most dangerous villains. Conroy and Hamill will also provide the voices of Batman and The Joker, respectively, for the upcoming animated series Justice League Action.
Rounding out the cast are Tara Strong reprising her role of Barbara Gordon, and Ray Wise as Commissioner Gordon.
Batman: The Killing Joke will hit stores late summer. The world premiere will be out at San Diego Comic-Con 2016.
