As the saga resumes, the Gold Ninja have claimed victory in the Final Battle with the Overlord ushering in a new era of peace.

In the first special, the Ninjas are called back into action as the spirit of the defeated Overlord has infected the electric grid of Ninjago and is using all available technology to exact his revenge on Lloyd, the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master.
