2013 Emmy Award-winner Tony Hale Returns in New Sanjay and Craig

Debuting Saturday, October 5 (10:30a.m., ET/PT) on Nickelodeon

Sanjay and Craig Mr. Noodman

Catch recent Emmy Award-winner Tony Hale (Veep) return as Mr. Noodman in the new episode “Doom Baby/Laked Nake,” premiering Saturday, October 5 at 10:30a.m., ET/PT on Nickelodeon. In “Doom Baby,” the dudes’ decision to babysit Richard Dickson might cost Craig his life. Then in “Laked Nake,” a good day at the lake goes bad when Sanjay loses his bathing suit.

In the series, Leslie Noodman is Sanjay and Craig’s annoying, busybody next-door neighbor. Noodman has a pathological fear of snakes, making Craig his worst nightmare and mortal enemy. A lifelong bachelor, Noodman is unnaturally devoted to his cat, Lady Butterscotch, and is bizarrely obsessed with his favorite food, blueberries. His proximity to Sanjay and Craig’s house often makes him the inadvertent victim of the dudes’ backyard shenanigans and he’ll take any chance he can get to go after Craig with his trusty snake-smashing shovel.

Nickelodeon greenlit a second season with a 20-episode order of the hit original animated series that follows the misadventures of Sanjay, an excitable and irreverent 12-year-old boy (Maulik Pancholy, 30 Rock) and his best friend Craig, a smooth-talking snake and master of disguise (Chris Hardwick, The Talking Dead). Together, they embark on awesome kid-inspired quests that are at times totally ridiculous, absolutely gross and weirdly sweet. The series is created by Jim Dirschberger, Jay Howell and Andreas Trolf. Dirschberger, Howell and Thurop Van Orman are co-executive producers, and award-winning animation team Chris Viscardi and Will McRobb are executive producers. Sanjay and Craig consistently ranks #1 in its time period with Boys 2-11 and 6-11. The season one premiere tallied 3.6 million total viewers; and launch to date, it is averaging 3 million total viewers and posting double-digit gains with K2-11 (+13%) and K6-11 (+23%) vs. year ago (Source: NMR, Live+Sameday, 5/25/13-7/13/13, Saturday’s 10:30am-11am).
