Clay Martin Croker, Voice of Zorak 1962-2016

Vulture reports that animator and voice actor Clay Martin Croker passed away on Sunday. He was 54.

Croker was best known as the voice of Zorak and Moltar on Space Ghost Coast to Coast, a late night talk show based on the classic 60s cartoon that aired on Cartoon Network. He also reprised the Moltar voice for the animated action block Toonami, and the Zorak voice for Cartoon Planet and The Brak Show.┬áHe also voice Dr. Weird on Aqua-Teen Hunger Force for the Cartoon Network’s late-night programming block Adult Swim.

Croker got his start animating promos for TNT in the early 90s, and when Cartoon Network was first introduced, he went there to help. He also became one of the pioneers for the Adult Swim programming block which airs late-nights on Cartoon Network.

Croker died in his home in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday. His cause of death is unknown.
