Cyberpunk 2077 is without a doubt one of the most hyped games of the year, and of the last few years. The latest project from CD Project Red (who made their name on The Witcher franchise) has been teasing and slowly building this game for many years. And though it’s set to release this September (or at least it’s presented to be releasing then), gamers still don’t have a lot of information on the title as a whole. Unfortunately, that’s going to last until the end of the month.
CD Project Red was set to do some info-dumping on players via their upcoming Night City Wire event, but in light of all that is happening in the world, the team behind the game have revealed that they aren’t going to do that at the previously set time, and will instead delay it to the end of the month.
We decided to move Night City Wire to Jun 25th. We still look forward to sharing new information about CP’77, but more important discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard. We wholeheartedly stand against racism, intolerance and violence. Black Lives Matter.

While fans will no doubt be disappointed, this is an important moment in history, and many companies across many countries across many genres and fields are rallying together to fight for equality. And regardless of where you fall on the matter, you must respect them taking a stand for what they believe in.
Cyberpunk 2077 is aiming to be one of the boldest games ever made. As it all takes place in one city, but that city is teeming with life from top to bottom, and that’s before you dive into the deeper storyline, the infinite amount of customization via the Cyberpunk aesthetic, and of course, Keanu Reeves playing a major part in the storyline.
Part of the reason that people are so hyped about this is simply that they don’t know what all to expect, and thus the Night City Wire has been delayed, the information will come, and when it does, fans will no doubt be happy.
