Cast of “Batman vs. Robin” Announced; Jason O’Mara Returns, Weird Al Yankovic Joins

The Hollywood Reporter has provided details on the cast of Batman vs. Robin, the next DC Animation direct-to-video animated feature film. Several cast members are returning from prior DC Animated efforts including Jason O’Mara (Terra Nova) as Batman, Stuart Allan (Bad Teacher) as Damian/Robin, Sean Maher (Arrow) as Dick Grayson/Nightwing, and David McCallum (NCIS) as Alfred. Joining the cast will be Jeremy Sisto (Suburgatory, and Batman in the direct-to-video Justice League: The New Frontier) as Talon, a nearly unstoppable assassin; voiceover veteran Grey Griffin (née DeLisle) as a character named Samantha; musician “Weird Al” Yankovic as the villain Dollmaker; Robin Atkin Downs (Superman vs. the Elite) as the Grandmaster; Peter Onorati (American Dreams, and Warhawk in Batman Beyond and Justice League) as a character named Draco; and Kevin Conroy (Batman the Animated Series) as Thomas Wayne.

The movie will be directed by Jay Oliva (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Justice League: War) from a script by J.M. DeMatteis; James Tucker will produce. The movie will premiere at WonderCon this year, which will run from April 3-5, 2015, in Anaheim, with the home video release this spring.
