ADVENTURE TIME
The Emmy nominated Adventure Time, Cartoon Network’s hit original, animated series introduces viewers to unlikely heroes Finn & Jake, buddies who traverse the mystical Land of Ooo and encounter its colorful inhabitants. The best of friends, our heroes always find themselves in the middle of heart-pounding escapades. Finn, a silly kid with an awesome hat and Jake, a brassy dog with a big kind heart, depend on each other through thick and thin.

From the mind of creator Pendleton Ward, Ooo is a land built for adventure. Teeming with imposing mountains, lush green plains, accessible forests, ubiquitous prairies and winding rivers, the cities and towns are filled with bizarre characters in need of unique assistance. Whether it’s saving Princess Bubblegum, defeating zombie candy, mocking the “oxy-moronic” Ice King, or rocking out with undead music wiz Marceline the Vampire Queen, with Finn & Jake it’s always Adventure Time.

Adventure Time airs Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network.

AMAZING WORLD OF GUMBALL

The Amazing World of Gumball tells the story of an extra-ordinary suburban family who just happen to live in an ordinary town. Dad is your regular 6’4″ pink rabbit who stays home while Mom works in a rainbow factory. Their kids are pretty standard too- there’s Gumball, a blue cat with a giant head, Anais, a 4-year-old genius bunny and Darwin, a pet goldfish who became part of the family when he sprouted legs.

At the heart of The Amazing World of Gumball is Gumball, who faces the trials and tribulations of any 12-year-old-kid, like being chased by a rampaging T-Rex, or dressing as a cheerleader to impress the girl of his dreams.

The Amazing World of Gumball is the first UK-produced full length animation series out of Cartoon Network Development Studio Europe. The series combines 2D and 3D animation in a live-action setting and is created by Ben Bocquelet. The Amazing World of Gumball premieres Monday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network.

BAKUGAN: MECHTANIUM SURGE

After defeating Emperor Barodius and the Twelve Orders on Gundalia, the Bakugan Battle Brawlers return victorious to Earth. The battles in Bakugan Interspace have exploded with popularity and the Brawlers, especially Dan; reign supreme as world class superstars until San learns that his battling directly threatens the Earth! Drago’s exposure to Code Eve has infused him with incredible power and as a result Dan accidentally releases Mechtogan, a new mysterious entity that wreaks havoc whenever Drago battles!

Feeling he must regain control over Drago’s evolving powers and Mechtogan, Dan leaves the Brawlers on a quest of discovery. But as he learns the truth about Drago’s new powers, an insidious enemy joins the fray, building an army of “Dark Bakugan” engineered for total domination.

BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD

Building on the iconic character of Batman, this latest interpretation of the classic Batman franchise finds Batman teaming up with heroes from across the DC Comics Universe, delivering nonstop action and adventure with a touch of comic relief in this new animated series.

Light in tone, Batman: The Brave and the Bold introduces younger viewers to a famed hero while still offering plenty to excite diehard fans–the visual style of the series has been inspired by the look and feel of the work of ’40s and ’50s classic comic book Batman artists. Fans of all ages will cheer the caped crusader as he battles crime and injustice.

Best of all, Batman isn’t going at it alone! Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, Aquaman and countless others will get a chance to uphold justice alongside him. Though still based in Gotham City, the Caped Crusader will frequently find himself outside city limits, facing situations that are both unfamiliar and exhilarating. With formidable foes around every corner, Batman will still rely on his stealth, resourcefulness and limitless supply of cool gadgets to bring justice home!

Batman: The Brave and the Bold is a 30-minute animated action/adventure series from Warner Bros. Animation and based on the DC Comics’ character Batman, created by Bob Kane. The series is executive produced by Sam Register, and the producers are James Tucker and Linda M. Steiner. The series is based upon the popular DC Comics comic book characters and airs Friday nights at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network.

BEN 10: ULTIMATE ALIEN

Ben 10: Ultimate Alien follows 16-year-old Ben Tennyson as his secret identity has been revealed to the world and he’s now an international mega-star super hero, loved by kids the world over but distrusted by many adults. Armed with a mysterious new Omnitrix, Ben is able to transform into hyper-evolved versions of his aliens and will see action in places he’s never been.

2011 premieres of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien consistently show double- and triple-digit delivery gains among key target demos over the same time period last year.

In the consumer products space, the Ben 10 franchise continues to be a dominant global boys action brand, with the Ben 10 Ultimate Alien having multi-category success led by a strong toyline from Bandai America and interactive franchise from D3Publisher.

Ben 10 has been one of Cartoon Network’s most successful original series since first premiering on the network in January 2006. The franchise has since spawned four animated series, one animated movie, two live-action movies, a widely-popular consumer product line and has captured the imaginations of viewers on a global scale.

GENERATOR REX

Rex is 15, and like most 15-year-old boys, he likes cars, girls, music and sports. But unlike most 15-year-old boys, he can make fists the size of boulders, sprout a jet pack out of his back and turn his legs into a lightning-fast motorcycle. These talents are extremely useful to Providence, a global organization chartered to fight mutant creatures known as E.V.O.s (Exponentially Variegated Organism). Rex is under their care and is their ultimate weapon.

Generator Rex takes place in the aftermath of a global accident, where microscopic machines known as nanites have merged with every living thing. For a select few, the nanites mutate their hosts into monstrous E.V.O.s. Rex is one such E.V.O., but unlike the monsters he and Providence battle, Rex has control over his nanites, allowing him to create amazing mechanical limbs and gadgets that aid him in battle and heal E.V.O.s of their mutation. Rex is joined by a team of characters including his sidekick, a highly intelligent monkey named Bobo Haha, his mentor Agent Six, the brilliant Dr. Holiday and Noah, a regular kid and Rex’s friend.

Generator Rex is an original animated series produced at Cartoon Network Studios and created by Man of Action (Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau, Steve Seagle), with John Fang as supervising producer. The series airs Fridays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network.

GREEN LANTERN: THE ANIMATED SERIES

Based upon the DC Comics super hero, Green Lantern: The Animated Series is an all-new CG animated action series from Warner Bros Animation and overseen by world-renowned producer, artist and animator Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League, Teen Titans, Batman Beyond, DC Universe original animated movies).

HOT WHEELS: BATTLE FORCE 5

Hot Wheels: Battle Force 5 tells the epic adventures of a team of teen drivers, protecting the earth against aliens and robots in amazing interdimensional battlezones.

The Earth is under attack by two vastly different evil alien forces, intent on crossing through the firewall of the dimensions and unleashing their conquering armies onto our unprotected world. The enemies must pass from their world to ours through rips in the universe (Stormshock portals), but to get to the Earth they must win the place between worlds. A buffer zone.

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON

DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon is an adventure-comedy about a young Viking and his unlikely friendship with a dragon. Based on the book by Cressida Cowell, How to Train Your Dragon rolls fire-breathing action, epic adventure and laughs into a captivating and original story. Hiccup is a young Viking who defies tradition when he befriends one of his deadliest foes—a ferocious dragon he calls Toothless. Together, the unlikely heroes must fight against all odds to save both of their worlds. In the How to Train Your Dragon television series, premiering on Cartoon Network in 2012, the characters and worlds originally created for the big screen will be explored and further developed in a number of exciting ways that will be revealed over time. Picking up where the hit movie left off, television audiences will be taken on original, new adventures with Hiccup and Toothless every week.

Hiccup, a young Viking, befriends a ferocious dragon he calls Toothless in How to Train Your Dragon. The television series comes to Cartoon Network in 2012.

POKEMON

REGULAR SHOW

An original animated comedy from Cartoon Network, Regular Show features best friends Mordecai (a six-foot-tall blue jay) and Rigby (a hyperactive raccoon). The two are groundskeepers at a park owned by Pops, a humanoid-looking lollipop who has spent his entire life there. The job is so deadly dull that the two friends will do anything they can to avoid it. This doesn’t go over well with their boss Benson (an anthropomorphic gumball machine) — but their efforts often result in insane escapades that delight Pops. Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and their talking dog Scooby-Doo are back, solving mysteries in the spooky town of Crystal Cove, a sleepy coastal village that boasts a long history of ghostly sightings, werewolves and glowing deep sea divers. Because of all the mystery, Crystal Cove has become a tourist hotspot, taking in major profits, and the people of Crystal Cove don’t appreciate the meddling of the renowned sleuthing team.

In Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, the curious gang investigates every circumstance with a questioning mindset. Ghosts and monsters may exist, but extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof, and the gang will stop at nothing to learn the truth of Crystal Cove.Plus, the drama won’t be limited to paranormal activities — the gang will be portrayed as real teens with real problems, dealing with situations that arise in their families and personal relationships within the group.

STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS

THUNDERCATS

An epic, all new reimagining of the classic 1980s animated series, ThunderCats tells the story of a hero’s journey to fulfill his ultimate destiny. On Third Earth, the kingdom of Thundera is being threatened by the evil sorcerer Mumm-Ra, and Lion-O, the young heir to the throne, embarks on a great quest to take his rightful place as king. The unlikely champion must work with his faithful comrades Tygra, Cheetara, Panthro, WilyKit, WilyKat, and his loyal pet, Snarf — who join him on his journey — to save their world from darkness.

ThunderCats is a new animated series from Warner Bros. Animation (WBA), premiering exclusively on Cartoon Network, and is executive produced by Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and the Bold), with Michael Jelenic (Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Wonder Woman) and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender) producing.
