Via Viz Media, it has been announced that the rest of the Bleach manga will be animated finally, 4 years after the manga concluded. The upcoming series is based on the manga’s 1000-Year Blood Arc which starts in Chapter 480 of the manga.
Before then though, Tite Kubo’s one-shot manga, Burn the Witch, a story that takes place in the Bleach universe, will also be animated with the manga being distributed in chapters by Viz this summer. Burn the Witch follows 2 witches who work for the Western Branch of the Soul Society located in Reverse London.
There isn’t an exact release date for the new Bleach anime episodes besides possibly being in 2021 according to the official release video. More information about Bleach and Burn the Witch can be found on Bleach‘s official 20th anniversary website found here.
