For almost 30 years, Kevin Conroy has been the voice of Batman for a generation of fans. His next project is a “personal” story that he’s writing for this year’s DC Pride issue.
According to Screen Rant, Conroy writes a tale called “Finding Batman” which talks about Conroy bringing his ideal voice to the Caped Crusader as it reflects his own life and career. In real life, Conroy is openly gay.
“Finding Batman” is one of twelve stories in the upcoming issue dealing with DC Comics’ LGBQT+ heroes like Superman (John Kent), Robin (Tim Drake), Batwoman, and Poison Ivy.
DC Pride 2022 will not only feature various writers and artists but also an introduction by Nicole Maines, who played Dreamer on Supergirl. Artist J. Bone and letterer Aditya Bidikar will provide the artwork for “Finding Batman.”
DC Pride 2022 will hit the shelves on May 31.
