Attack on Titan Season 4 Releases Intro and Exit Credits

Attack on Titan Season 4 has finally returned with the first of its final set of episodes that will close the story on the Titans and those who are fighting against them. The story of Attack on Titan has seen many twists and turns over the years, and that’s what has made it one of the most important anime series in a long time, and kickstarting the new age of anime that we enjoy right now.

As this is a new sect of episodes, in true anime tradition, there are brand new opening and closing credits scenes that showcase various things in the anime and beyond. For Part 2 of the season, the opening theme is titled “The Rumbling” as performed by SiM. The new ending theme is titled “Akuma no Ko (a child of evil)” as performed by Ai Higuchi.

As you can see, each has their own distinct feel that they’re putting in to make the watcher react in various ways. Again, another classic trope of anime.

Episode 76 of the series arrived yesterday with the episode “Judgment”, here was the synopsis for that episode:

“In the pouring rain, a soldier is lying on the ground. Beside him, a man crawls out from the steam of a mysterious Titan. At the same time, Marley makes a surprise attack in Shiganshina District, the place where everything began, and the Titans begin to move. The Founding Titan and the Armored Titan face off once more.”

There are some who are watching these last episodes with great earnest because they don’t know the ending that happened in the manga. Others just want to see how those manga pages translate to the anime setting.

And there are some who are wondering if Attack on Titan Season 4 might honestly have more to come based on the stories left to tell. We’ll find out soon enough.
