Anime Release Date News Roundup (9/9/2024): “Bleach,” “Quintessential Quintuplets,” and More

Another week and we have more updates on upcoming anime release dates.

  • Most notably, Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War: The Conflict will stream on Hulu October 5. Dub will probably follow suit a few weeks after the subtitled release.
  • A anime adaptation of the romance manga Yakuza Fiancé will air on October 7. Crunchyroll will stream the anime in the US. Trailer here,

  • The horror/comedy manga A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School will come out October 8, just in time for spooky season. Trailer here:

  • The isekai light novel As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use my Appraisal Skill will debut September 29. Trailer here:

 

  • An anime adaptation of the light novel The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor will release on October 9. Trailer here:

  • The romance manga I Have a Crush at Work will have an anime adaptation airing in January 2025.
  • Magical girl comedy manga Acro Trip will receive an anime adaptation on October 2.

  • Seinen comedy manga Kinokoinu: Mushroom Pup will get an anime adaptation on October 3. Trailer here:

  • An adaptation of the video game 9-Nine will air in 2025.
  • An anime adaptation of the isekai light novel The Healer Who was Banished From His Party is Actually the Strongest will debut October 5. Trailer here:

  • The badminton-themed shonen romantic comedy manga Blue Box will receive a Netflix simulcast in the US on October 3.

  •  The isekai light novel I”ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History will receive an anime adaptation on October 1. Trailer here,

  • The new Quintessential Quintuplets special will air in Japan sometime this winter. A theatrical screening will happen in Japan on September 20.
  • Fishing anime Negative Positive Angler will debut in Japan October 3. Trailer here,

  • The film Fuuto Pi: Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull, a spinoff of the iconic tokusatsu franchise, will screen in Japan on November 8. No news on an international release yet. Trailer here:
