Many fans of anime in the UK and Ireland will be familiar with Anime Limited, the Glasgow based anime company that has made a name for itself with high quality home releases, theatrical screenings and other anime related events that attempt to connect the domestic audience to the Japanese anime industry and the talent within it. The company is steadily expanding globally and has announced a few changes in staff as a result.
Chief amongst these is the hiring of Miles Thomas (previously of Crunchyroll) as their global Chief Marketing Officer. CEO Andrew Partridge comments “This is the perfect time to welcome someone like Miles with such a wide understanding of anime across the world and a global expertise in the field to Anime Limited as we gear up for the next phase of our growth and expansion including that of our music label worldwide.”
Jessica Poce has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Her previous role as General Manager, UK and Ireland has in turn been assumed by Kerry Kasim. Both individuals have a wealth of history working with the company and the wider entertainment industry, planning to maintain Anime Limited’s existing customers whilst helping it to expand to new ones and new territories. A recent venture for the company has seen it expand into official anime soundtrack releases, such as Jujutsu Kaisen.
