Beginning April 7, 2016, Prime Video customers in the United States, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom will have unlimited streaming of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. Amazon will stream Fuji TV’s popular “noitaminA” anime programming exclusively for Prime Video customers. Amazon’s first global, the upcoming series will also be the first Japanese programming made available simultaneously to worldwide Prime Video customers. The popular series will feature English subtitles.
The episodes will be available each week exclusively to Prime Video customers the day after each episode premieres in Japan, and Prime Video customers in Japan will also get to stream the first episode of each series prior to the linear broadcast.
The 12-episode Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is a new anime series from director Tetsuro Araki and WIT STUDIO (Attack on Titan). Launched in April 2005, noitaminA is a late-night animated cartoon block shown on Fuji TV in Japan, which has included hit titles such as Honey and Clover and Nodame Cantabile.
The first season of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, and forthcoming noitaminA anime series, will be available for Prime members to stream and enjoy using the Amazon Video app for TVs, connected devices including Amazon Fire TV, and mobile devices, or online at Amazon.com/originals, at no additional cost to their membership.
