The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is already shaping up to be an interesting film with Andrew Garfield as Spidey, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Paul Giamatti as Rhino and a star-studded supporting cast that includes Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, Sally Field and Denis Leary. But now the final piece to the Spidey pie was added – a soundtrack that will feature Pharrell Williams [owner of two of this year’s hottest songs – “Lucky” and “Blurred Lines”], Dave Stewart [formerly of the Eurthymics], Johnny Marr [formerly of The Smiths] and Michael Einziger [Incubus] – and all to be overseen by the current king of film soundtracks, Hans Zimmer.
“The Amazing Spider-Man 2” is currently scheduled to be released on May 2, 2014.
