Alan Moore to Appear on "The Simpsons"

Comic book writer Alan Moore (Watchmen, V for Vendetta) will be guest-starring on an upcoming episode of The Simpsons, providing the voice for his on-screen animated counterpart. According to several news reports, Moore is a long-time fan of the series, as well as South Park.

The plot of the episode involves a competing comic book store opening up in Springfield. No air date of the episode was announced.
